Medplaya Hotel Riudor - Adults Recommended

I liked staff, various breakfast and good mattress for sleep.

I did not like that there was not hygiene accessories like: cotton pads, vanity kit, shower cap.

Location great breakfast a bit average for what l paid

The price of £70 a night

The hotel is very central and good location, but the bar drinks are very reasonably priced.

You can hear rowdy noisey people in the street at early hrs

No champagne breakfast shower was terrible 1 minute was nice then scalding hot then freezing cold I had to have a bath to get a temperature to wash in ..the sink water pressure was terrible ..for 3 days we asked for an iron but who ever borrowed it didn't let anyone else have a shot of it that's terrible n to have just 1 iron in a big hotel is out of order buy some irons and hire them out very annoyed that we had to pay for a safe I use to like medplaya riudor but have been put off with a good few things now ..looking at other options

Great location

Bed very hard. Otherwise spotlessly clean. Only spoke to staff on check in but was pleasant enough. Food was ok.

Location quite central, close to the beach and the night life . Receptionist really polite , welcoming and quite available.

First of all , the food was poor quality except Friday where many options were available in terms of cheese and sweets . The room was not clean and the staff just used to change the towels and set up the bed and that’s all . The condition of the room felt short not to mention the bed creaks ( it does need maintenance) . Hair dryer had button damaged and the last day stop working.

We have stayed here before and re-booked this year. Very clean hotel and the staff were very friendly. Location is great, 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the party side of Benidorm.

Great hotel location food etc. Only complaint is the air con was not on so very uncomfortable at the night. Told to open door but mosquitos to bad. Apparently only goes on in the summer when I asked reception

Air con situation

The food quality, service and choice was perfect for us, freshly cooked in front of you items at every meal. Staff were attentive, professional and friendly. Room was perfect for us on a low floor, clean, with a balcony and the hotel was very close to all the bars. Entertainment (singer) seemed to be on each night in the bar. Pool and outside area was very clean too (always saw somebody mopping or cleaning). Well done Riudor. Noise isn't an issue with the doors closed.

Hotel and staff OK. We have just spent 4 days at this hotel and standards have dropped. We have stayed at the hotel many times over the years. Staff always friendly.

The evening entertainmment was rubbish. At one time if you did not get a seat in the evening by 9PM it was full. Now no more than 20 people in the lounge any evening. This must tell the hotel that there is a problem. We will not be staying there again hence the cancellation of our Christmas Booking.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Couldn't fault this hotel. I've been coming to Benidorm a few years. I'm trying to find a good go-to hotel. Think this could be it. Perfect location ?.... food was ok. But I'm very fussy about food. I was all-inclusive, so I had lots of options. All staff were lovely. The beds were very comfy. Pillows were soft. Will be back. Mags from Galway

Couldn’t really find any faults. Staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish. Breakfast was nice and there were plenty of sunbeds at the pool area to accommodate all guests.We were staying on the 2nd floor which I was thankful for as the hotel has 7 floors, we were able to use the stairs everyday but other people on higher floors had a lengthy wait and queue to use the lifts. The hotel is right on the strip, as soon as you step out there is a range of bars and food places. Noise wasn’t a problem at night, the balcony door was very sound proof and blocked out any noise as soon as it was shut.Would stay again and recommend this hotel for any adults of any age looking for a hotel on a budget.

Only problem was shower kept going hot & cold while showering

The breakfast was nice with varied selections to chose from.

The room was not great, the flooring was lifting and cracked (thank goodness we had shoes to wear otherwise we could have ended up with cut feet). The room was very noisy (both inside and outside).

Noise from the open air pub 10 metres away was horrendous and went on till 2am each morning so very little sleep. Hotel was lovely, staff were nice, bar facilities were good but could do with offering toasties etc as food in restaurant was limited and a bit hit and miss with quality/ variety. Pool was fine but quite shady in places in winter/ spring. Clean and plenty of sunbeds

Have stayed here before because the location is great. Clean and good size room.

Could do with more coffee sachets but would presume you can get these from reception. Lift is a bit slow.

Spotlessly clean food great staff polite and nothing was any trouble highly recommended
