- This property is not well located, the room was not clean and everything smell cats and dust. Breakfast was nothing special. It difficult to undertand how this property gained such a rating.
- The best breakfast during our Türkiye trip was here. Also the building was very nicely decorated. Everything in the room was well maintained and new.
- The location is very central. You can easily reach everywhere on foot. It is located in a historical touristic destination. The room and common areas were very clean. Hande and Oleg are both very helpful and knowledgeable people. It was very enjoyable to talk to them. Their breakfast was the best I have had in Turkey. They speak good English so they help you a lot. Definitely stay here when you come to Ayvalık.

- Had paid for cheapest room which was unsurprisingly small. Might be better to pay more, in particular to get a bigger bathroom. Little tricky to find in backstreets but if you ask for the Çinarlı or Saati mosques that will get you to the right area.

Pleasant little guesthouse in quiet back streets of Ayvalık amid the old Greek houses for which town is famous. Comfortable bed although it took up most of room. Very nice breakfast in small rear courtyard. Hosts very helpful as to what to see and do.

II had an outstanding stay at Hanole Guest House. Oleg, the owner, was incredibly friendly, chatty, and a genuinely intellectual person, which made for some great conversations. The guest house had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, organized, and clearly well-cared-for, which added to the comfort of my stay. The breakfast was truly exceptional, with attention to every detail. I couldn’t ask for a better experience – it’s an easy 10/10!
Nice guest house in quiet street. Lovely room with great breakfast and very helpful host who gave us a lift to the bus station on the last morning to ensure we didn't miss our onward inter-city bus to Selcuk. Only a 10 minute stroll from the guest house to the seafront where Dolmus or ferries offers easy access to Cunda Island across the water from Ayvalik.
Ayvalik per se was not our favourite location in Turkey but it offered a convenient stopping off point on our bus journey down the west coast between Canakkale and Selcuk and nearby Cunda Island was great with lovely small town and nearby beaches.
Hanole Guest House is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a convenient and pleasant stay. The location is perfect, with all major attractions within easy walking distance, making exploration effortless. The breakfast is a highlight, offering a variety of delicious options that cater to different tastes and leave guests satisfied. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, providing wonderful service and making guests feel truly welcome. Overall, Hanole Guest House offers a delightful experience with its prime location, tasty breakfast, and exceptional hospitality.
I don't have anything negative to say about the place; we really did enjoy our staying there and we highly recommend it to any travellers to Ayvalik!
The breakfast was the most original I had in Turkey. All or most home made jams, tomato sauce etc. definitely try the fig walnut jam!
Nothing. I loved my stay here
The breakfast was amazing (according my bf)Hosts are incredible, super kind, helpful and sweetThe guest house is cute and have a very nice atmosphere and beautiful decorationQuit difficult to park the car on the narrow streets in the city.
friendly hosts, clean rooms and a rich and tasty breakfast, we will definitely be back.
everything was fine
Superb breakfast, location and Handae and Olek (Hanole guest house) were fantastic hosts
Nothing to dislike
Great location, very clean, quaint room. Crisp white sheets & comfortable bed. The best thing was the hosts. Couldn’t do enough for you. Fabulous breakfast. Was a great experience.
The owner has definitely done miracles inside this tiny town house! You'll find tons of good taste and perfect craftsmanship. And nice people, too. Hard to find - take a taxi!
Great location. A beautiful old house. Wonderful hosts and a most delicious breakfast.
Our triple room was on the small side.
The location is perfect; the hosts are kind, considerate and cheerful. Nothing is too much of a trouble. They are truly brilliant. The highlight is the breakfast, with selected produces, home made delicacies. A truly culinary experience!
Everything was perfect
Clean, perfect location, incredibly kind host and delightful breakfast. We had a very pleasant stay.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast.
Breakfast was the best Ive had in greek or turkey and for a long long time: they love to cook.Rooms were comfortable and great AC.
I hit my head twice on the staircase; but I was warned.
Nicely decorated, very friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast included was very good
The bathroom was a bit small
Hande and Oleg are wonderful hosts. They were kind and generous in everything that they did, from the hand-made jams at breakfast to a range of hospitality gestures like picking us up from the ferry, helping us book a taxi to the airport and answering our messages immediately whenever we had any questions. They are very special and sweet people and we recommend them with all of our hearts. Not to mention their beautiful dog, Daisey - if you get to meet her she will undoubtedly make you happier than you were a moment before. The room itself was small but comfortable, and since we only spent 3 days it was more than enough. Thanks for everything!
