We had an amazing stay here!!!- Great staff, helpful recommendations and language support with booking a taxi one evening- You will probably want a rental car to explore the island - they have a secure car park nearby- Rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated- So close to the beach, and options to rent / borrow gear from the hotel (e.g. sun loungers, snorkelling, kayaks etc)- Homely feel, with a games room and complimentary laundry- They think of everything; even down to providing organic mosquito spray at the front desk

Location of the hotel is quite remote but very nice and perfect to disconnect and be immersed in the beautiful nature and very close from a beautiful small beach. The staff is very friendly and you can rent kayak and snorkeling material for free. Also, when I was there, it was so quiet and peaceful, really ideal to rest.

I would say maybe the breakfast. As they describe the hotel as "boutique hotel", I was expecting a breakfast with better products (viennoiserie and bread weren't really good) but it's just a detail and overall my stay was really nice.

We liked a lot about the friendly and very helpful staff. We also enjoy the beach that was basically our private beach with millions of hermit crabs. The room was spacious and very well maintained. The restaurant was also good!

Nothing really. Location could be a problem for people who want to stay near the city, but great for us who wanted to be in nature.

Great support from the staff. The guy in the restaurant is sometimes a bit grumpy but a good guy? free parking, very close to a clean beach. All good!

Nice location, excellent facilities, good food and a special thanks to the staff membersl. They assisted us verry well when we needed to visit a hospital urgently. They joined us for the translation in the hospital.

The facility is great, there is a pool, an onsen and an outdoor shower to rince your stuff if you went to the beach / snorkeling etc.The staff is very helpful: they answer all questions promptly both by messages and on site. They offer to make the bed in our Japanese room, and being pregnant with a toddler to manage I was grateful for the opportunity.The restaurant is nice.

Incredible customer service - the staff cannot do enough for you. They booked Snorkeling, onsen, breakfast and restaurants for us. Gorgeous room, amazing beach just feet away, and great restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner underneath. Sunsets are incredible in the like- private beach. Onsen is lovely too.

The hotel did its utmost to make me book a car, unfortunately my translation of my driver's license was not enough. Because with a car there's a lot to do here. With no car it's still fine though, there is a bus twice a day.The room was very big and I had a fabulous view on the sea. The hotel has a small onsen, with a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast is eaten in the café on site and the Japanese breakfast was tasty, as was everything else I had for dinner. Everyone was super friendly! The beach in front of the hotel is endless with no other people except the hotel guests.

The view from the sea view room I has was incredible - worth the money alone.

The decor, although a little dated was fine. The location of the property and the friendly staff more than make up for anything.

The hotel is located 50 meters from a beautiful beach in a remote area, making the sunsets incredible. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a view on the green mountains and partly the ocean. It was also possible to book a timeslot for the private Onsen, which had a balcony with ocean view included. Especially the staff was kindhearted and supportive, making our stay exceptionally pleasant!

The room was a good size with a lovely view of the beach. We could see the sunset in the evenings from our balcony which was lovely. The staff were very friendly. The beach was conveniently located , clean and quiet. Breakfast was superb! We had the Japanese breakfast which included soup , rice , grilled fish , salad , pineapple , egg , tofu , yoghurt , coffee and juice. It was healthy, fresh and filling. We hired a car from the airport and there was free parking at the hotel and you can drive easily to the main sights on the island from here.

The facilities. Everything in the hotel was worn and needed maintenance. In no way similar to the pictures. Couldn't stand upright in the shower because of the roof construction (height 1.7m). Missing a lounge (group of 5 people / 3 rooms)

We loved our stay here and highly recommend. We had the traditional Japanese room, which was spacious, well equipped and clean. The location is great and right next to a private and beautiful beach. If you are looking for a relaxing time in Ishigaki yet not far from many sights, this is the place stay. Your stay will be more comfortable if you have a car or other means of transportation to get around the area. The staff deserves all the praise from other reviews, they are incredibly welcoming and helpful with everything and made our stay perfect.

Spacious rooms, private extremely beautiful beach (one of the top ones in ishigaki for sure), and excellent very warm and welcoming staff. Cant pick a better place if you’re looking for more remote island vibes.

The staffs were all friendly and there to help you with anything. We asked for a nail cutter and one of the staffs let us use his own.

Everything, the location, the quiet beaches, the toom, the food. It's been a pleasure to stay for five days, so we are now extending another four days

Staff was very welcoming, helpful, kind and sincere. Location practically on the beach. Good food.

Not property related, but there are limited food options around. Frequent trips to downtown probably require renting a car.
