Ishigaki Seaside Hotel

I enjoyed Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner there. The food was surprisingly beyond my expectations. It was during New Year Holidays so we got a great combination of traditional Japanese New Year food, Okinawan food and Western Holidays food. Services were excellent, everyone was so warm and attentive to not only myself but other guests. It's on the West Coast so great for sunset and the beach next to the resort is also very nice and calm.

The facilities are a bit running down. But understandable. Cleanliness is still excellent. The location is great if you have a rental car, otherwise could be a bit isolated.

Great location with direct beach access, large rooms and comfortable beds. The buffet style breakfast and dinner offered a large variety of decent food.

Our stay at Seaside was fantastic! The waterfront was gorgeous, the room was spacious and the staff were lovely. You had everything you needed on site, but we would recommend getting a rental car for other excursions.

Very nice and clean hotel, very good food! Friendly stuff, and amazing view. Watch sunset from our patio which is amazing.

LOVELY location.

The toilet room is very very small. Japanese style, but it was difficult to stand up when done as the room was tiny!

Magnificent view even when is raining and have everything like food, the little shop and the tours that they offered. First time at the hotel I saw stingrays and this time I saw a sea turtle! Also, they have for sports too and I loved it. If you are searching for a peaceful place away from the city and have fun, this hotel is the perfect choice.

The property is far from the city, 30-35 minutes away, but it is fine anyways.

Pool

I thought the cabin we stayed would have a beach view and privacy In the room, I didn’t know all beds would be out in the open. No privacy when getting dressed for myself my my kids from one another

We loved the location, the yakiniku outside was excellent.

We did not like food at the hotels restaurant (buffet style) Yakiniku was a better choice for us.

The villa was very confortable. The pool and facilities were great!

Location by the seaside, in a quiet shallow bay. Outside pool. Bach near the hotel. Additional beach with protective net just a 5 minuts walk, south from hotel. Spacious room, balcony, nice sea view. Big car parking, lat off space. We enjoyed good drinks at the bar.

Toilet in a very small room. Small TV-set. No chairs/table at balcony. Both beaches not suitable for swimming during low tide.

The seaview was amazing, as well as the dinner buffet. Highly recommend both, getting a room with seaview and the dinner included in the reservation. Great selection of foods, including fresh fish and desserts. You can rent towels as well if you plan to travel around the island.

Only thing I would improve is a proper coffee machine. The one available in the hotel is based on instant coffee.

The island is fantastic and the beach is great. Amazing location to relax. Lunch at the bar is amazing, try the waffles! We had the most amazing time.

If you can look pass the outdated rooms, and find them charming, you will be great. Just adjust the expectations. One thing to say, the price is too high for what the hotel is. It's a 3☆ charming place, with amazing location. Could be cleaner, there were some small spiders and webs in the room, and very dusty.

Great lunch cation and large room

While the location is beach side it is completely isolated. We drove to other restaurant 4 nights out of a five night stay to avoid the dreadful buffet dinner.

Amazing location. The views from the rooms are stunning! Nice territory and beautiful beach, there is a snorkeling tours service at the beach, which is very convenient. Nice bar at the lobby, good selection of cocktails

The hotel is not new, and you can feel it. Slight renovation would be really great. The food was fine, but it would be great to have a bit more variety for breakfast. Restaurant and bar close quite early

The location ! Although you better have a car in this location. But the beach is amazing.

Food was catastrophically awful; not to mention some of the most expensive meals we had during our whole time in Japan. Also had to pay extra to have rooms cleaned.Hotel was run down

Having to pay for beach towels

The location is great in terms of the beach. However, I recommend renting a car throughout your stay.

The cleanliness standards were not what we expected. We stayed in the main building, which is older and not renovated. The main AC on our floor was full of mold, same goes for the ACs in the buffet area. There was no room cleaning throughout our 9 days stay. Any clean up had to be scheduled in advance and it costs 3000 yen. We asked for a fresh set of bedsheets after a week and were denied. The location is quite remote and there are very few nearby options to eat out, so you’d depend on a car if you wanted to avoid eating every meal at the hotel.
