Maple Hotel & Apartment

New building, still in good codirion, all needed amenities in room, even an exercise bench in balcony :-D

The 10% additional charge for person mentioned in reservation (4+3 in 3-bedroom apartment), sundeck in top floor still under construction, poolside too small, need to be in use asap

Location was great. Breakfast staff and housekeeping were super friendly.

Stayed here 5 years ago and it was not as good. The rooftop bar and restaurant was closed both days. There used to be a sauna and steam room on the top floor but I couldn't see it. Maybe it was still there but there were no staff at the bar or pool area to ask. Didnt get the warm welcome I'd expect from a hotel of this standard. No smiles from reception, but lots of smiles from all the other staff!

It's the second time I have stayed here, but I am very disappointed about it this time:- The lobby was dark and no air conditioning;- It was very noisy from repairing rooms on the floor directly above us but we were not told about this by the hotel. The noisy work would continue until 10pm some nights- Walls and benches in the swimming pool area were dirty without towels; - There were not too many electric outlets in the room/apartment and we couldn't use some of the ones that were there because they were blocked by the TV - The fitted furniture in the bedrooms was poorly designed. Several drawers couldn't open because they hit the door frame or another piece of furniture. - The listing on Booking.com said children under 13 would pay a reduced rate but when we checked in, the staff tried to charge us full price for our 10 year old child. I explained, this was not in the policy. The staff told me that they would check it and let me know, but instead of letting me know later, they told my sister who didn't book the room and didn't understand the situation. When I checked out, they tried to charge me extra again for the 10 year old. They kept my passport and wouldn't let me leave for a long time. I kept showing them the policy on Booking.com and the staff kept going away to call the manager while still keeping my passport so I couldn't leave. Finally, they admitted that the policy on Booking.com was incorrect and they need to update it so I wasn't charged extra. This should all have been dealt with at check in instead of refusing to admit the mistake and holding us hostsge at check out. Perhaps they hoped we would be rushing to catch a flight so we would have to pay the fee to get my passport back quickly but fortunately we weren't in a rush so we had time to stay and argue for justice!

Free upgrade to an apartment - lovely big and spacious. Good size swimming pool. Amazing views of the sea and Vinpearl. Amazing breakfast!

Nice smart Hotel

We stayed at the Maple Hotel for three nights and enjoyed our stayOur room was lovely and well equippedThere was only a couple of niggles, one was the reception which insisted in keeping one of our passports, which we did not like, and did take an age to book us in.The other was the breakfast, which was quite frankly not very good

Good central location.

The bar upstairs has limited food and drinks. Hotel needs repair since COVID. very uncomfortable furniture in the rooms.

advertised a sofa bed. all sofas in the rooms are hard wooden benches very very uncomfortable. not suitable for tourist.

I really enjoyed the view from 21 floor, it was panoramic. Our apartments had a large area and it was comfortable.

The bathrobe was old, stained and torn. Also the kettle was leaking.

The ocean view from the bedroom is better than the pictures! The studio room was extremely spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect, close walk to restaurants and the beach.

The drains appeared to be blocked up, so when showering the water would overflow in the whole bathroom.

The hotel is really designed for family and the breakfast was really nice. We were really amazed by the rooftop Air Bar which was not strongly promoted by the front counter, but we still discovered it and visited the bar every night while we stayed in the hotel. Great drink selection and very hospitable bartenders. The manager Andrew was extremely attentive and even set up Karaoke for us. Very happy for choosing Maple Hotel.

Our room was facing a concrete wall with a rooter singing every morning from 4am til mid day. I’d really suggest the management to pay attention to these areas as most guests would prefer to sleep in and a nice view from the balcony.

THE VIEW! I mean the view from the balconies is stunning! Unreal! The breakfast was delicious! There were som power cuts which made us sit without AC for 10 min. Overall, the staff was helpful. The location is fantastic! There are convenience stores near buy, the beach is literally 100 steps away!

The bathroom is not well clean, the shampoo and shower gel has not been replaced for time, there's some dirty stinky gel on it

it’s not clean like it should be. The floor was dirty at check-in. We found a zip bag hidden under sofa table with solid things like canabis or cocain…No hand soap in toilets, kitchen sink. Broken ceiling at the window in the master bedroom.

Comfy beds, furnished room and close to the beach

There were no hot showers. The room was dirty in some corners. Overall facility is quite old because of Covid-19 (swimming pool, restaurants, bars,...). Hope renovations will be done in the future.
