Wyndham Garden Cam Ranh Resort

Villas were clean, spacious and private. Private plunge pool was convenient. Mr Kim, driving the golf buggy, pick up and drop off, baggage handling was always smiling and accommodating. Our family was very impressed. Greatly enjoyed special Christmas buffet at Cam Ranh Resort.

Promoted as villa with kitchen facilities but did not provide any plates, cutlery or kitchen equipment for usage. Not even a kitchen sink cloth to wipe spills. Had to call front desk and get charged extra for provisions. Only given 1 250ml bottle of water a day per person. Hotel charges extra for extra water bottles.

Villa is nice, a small issue with aircon but the technician comes and fixes immediately

Good location, very short distance to the airport. Overall everything was great, we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Nothing significant, apart from the breakfast time which was a bit too crowded during peak hour.

Beach is not kept well and is strewn with rubbish which needs sorting daily. European breakfast choice is limited. Villa has a full kitchen and utility room but with no onsite shop and no shops within 3 miles it’s pointless having these features as they can’t be used. To be fair the manager did provide a cup of wash detergent but the resort desperately needs a shop on site.

Great location, decent food and kind staff

Our villa smelled like putrid sewer for 4 days. Someone came to fix it one day but the next day the smell was back again. Also, our tv was broken.

Good location with private beach few steps away from our villa. The villa is spacious with modern design. The rooms and swimming pool are gennally clean and well-mantained.The breakfast buffet has not many variety of choices but tasting good is a plus point.

I searched for a 3-bedroom-villa on Booking.com that could fit 6 people. By the time I made the reservation, I called to the hotel booking department and informed the girl that our family has 7 people, I wanted to check if any surcharges might be applied if we wanted to have 3-meal buffets at the resort. The girl advised that there will be no extra surchage for the additional person since there will be no extra bed provided, but for the lunch and dinner buffets will cost additional ~ 3,790,000vnd (for 7 people in total).However, as soon as I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist charged us extra 950,000vnd for the 7th person. We had no choice but had to pay the extra, which was very upset us.The villa is not funished with kitchen ultensils (no bowls, no dishes, no echopsticks or spoons…), only comes with some cups and glassess. It costs 1 million vnd to borrow those from the resort.Not much dactivites in the resort.The receptionist is not very supportive and unprofessional.

If you are looking to get away from the crowds and have the beach practically to yourself, this is the place.

They had four staffed desks, but only two were checking guests in.

Continental breakfast coffee was always cold or room temperature. Not much dessert option for in room dining.

Good facilities, clean and of high standards.The beach is beautiful, clear and has super fine sand, very suitable for children and families.The staff is very attentive and handles requests quite quickly.

Seafood is not fresh, quality needs to be improved to ensure food safety.The other foods in the buffet are quite good.Dishes mainly serve the tastes of international guests.

Villa with pool, affordable.

The smell of the living room. We returned because our first stay was good, but the second time is totally different. Complained several times but they only sprayed some liquid. The staff gave the reason that the villa was unused for many months, what an excuse. We stayed most of the time inside the bedroom to avoid the stinky smell. Complained at the time we entered the villa at 3pm, but no other solutions offered until 9pm saying they can change our room. We requested to change room at 3pm but said they can solve the issue.

F&B quality is great ! We love the breakfast combo in the restaurant ! Highly recommended for anyone who is not a big fan of crowded and long waiting line buffet breakfast. Front office staff is helpful to us. Thank you very much.

We booked 3-Bebroom beach front villa however there is no direct access from the villa to the beach, a bit unusually to beach front villas we stayed in other properties. A bit disappointing ! Lobby area is not clean up to 5-star standard, the floor is dusty and front glass doors are full of fingerprints which lead to a not good first impression of the property

Utmost disappointment. Let me explain. Problem number 1: The description on booking.com promised a fully equipped kitchen included in the price, but in reality, there wasn't a single plate, spoon, or fork. We came for a weekend getaway with the children, and when we asked reception for utensils, they handed us a price list. Not only was the information on Booking different, but we also had to argue and spend our time proving our point instead of relaxing. Problem number 2: Booking.com stated that the hotel had a dedicated area for grilling and barbecuing included in the price! However, the staff denied it, despite us bringing a lot of meat, seafood, and other grillables. Again, we wasted a lot of time arguing. After an hour of negotiation, they found the grill, but of course, they charged us for it. Problem 3: The villa we rented was called Ocean View, yet there was no view of the ocean, only neighboring villas. When we asked why, they didn't give us a satisfactory answer. Problem 4: Everywhere we turned, we had to prove something, wasting our time. We came for a short break, and we really didn't want to deal with all of this. Considering the money we spent and our experience with neighboring hotels, this was quite a disappointing experience.Some advises to Wyndham hotel in Cam Ranh: Please, keep track of the up-to-date information on Booking.com that you post. Do not mislead people with the name "Ocean View" for villas. Do not be so petty as to charge for plates and silverware; it's better to take a deposit. Double-check the information about the grill and barbecue that you state on booking.com; you claim there's a special barbecue area, which is not true!
