Misleading, hidden fees, ruined our honeymoon.

Hotel FAQ clearly states VinWonders access is included, but after arriving we were told it is NOT included and we must pay out of pocket. The worst part? This fee and other hidden charges were only mentioned after the non-refundable payment. If we had known from the beginning, we would have booked somewhere else.I spent 30+ minutes arguing, escalated to their team, and received nothing but excuses and zero solutions. No accountability, no apology, just disappointment. This was our honeymoon and the experience was completely ruined.

The beach and pool area were beautiful

It was chaotic . The hotel is literally staying at a Disney type resort , tons of kids and noise . To get there takes a very long time when after a long day on the mainland you just want to get back to your hotel( about 1 hour )

the beach is full of sharp and rough rock, could easily end up with a split if stepped on, and there's no warning signage for these sharp rocks.

Completely Misleading and a Huge DisappointmentThis was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had. The hotel’s own Q&A on Booking.com clearly said VinWonders access was included — that’s the reason I booked it. When I arrived, they told me it wasn’t, and I had to pay extra. No warning, no refund option, just excuses. It feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. For a Marriott property, this was embarrassingly dishonest and completely ruined my stay. Never again.

The sea was dirty, the room was small, and there was a strange, unpleasant smell in the room. The food was average, and the dinner wasn't worth the money. Not all the showers on the beach were working. Very high humidity, the bedding was damp, perhaps the air conditioning was not working properly. We expected more.

Everything! Everything was on high level check in, very helpful and polite staff. Very good variety of food on brackfast and dinner too. Big and clean room with nice view. Good service and very beautiful hotel.

Cleanliness.. Lack of customer care on beach (no warning sign on the day the JELLY FISH was spotted/reported..) Lack of customer care (NEGLIGENCE) at terminal back to hotel; disorganized/confusing & could easily lead to altercation (verbal/physical) among customers. Many customers were agitated by the chaotic scene at this point when it’s busy. Disappointed return.

The villa is empty from dishes. Pool dirty. Service was very bad.

This is a huge hotel with too many people and an 'industrial' type of service, specialy for restauration whith a large quantity and diversity of dishes but quality was average at best.

Location and view from ocean villa is amazing. Cleaning service is too fast, all staff is polite, and food is delicious. Speacial thanks to Windy restaurant for delicious Uzbek food.

The staff at poolside cafe is too slow with a mess in orders and payments. We waited for a cold drink for 15-20 minutes though everything was at hand. Please be prepared that guests are not allowed to postpay for food at restaurants, so you need cash or visa while resting at the pool. After the payment, you are also "somehow" asked for a room number, signature on cheque and still may be asked to re-pay the same closed bills at the lobby, though you were not allowed to postpay :)) This policy remains awkward for a 5-star hotel.

Loved playing pickleball, the game billiards room, the swimming pools, our private pool in our villa, the sun chaises and outdoor space and interior space of our villa. Breakfast was very good as well too!

I loved most things about the hotel: great location for a beach holiday, you feel like you are somewhere in the jungles but with the infrastructure and amenities of a city. Breakfast selection was the most diverse and tasty I ever encountered at a hotel. The hotel itself was clean, rooms convenient. We chose a garden view and it was a great call since the sun was already gone by noon and we could enjoy a shadow during our lunch nap. The pool is huge.

1. The beach was closed for renovation and no one warned about this prior to arrival, we found out only when we got there. It will be closed until April 5. Although they provide buggy service anywhere on the island it was a pity we couldn't just walk outside for the beach experience.2. Also some of the staff seem to not understand what you are saying and give answers contradicting each other. 3. I tried room service food and it was awful. I ordered cream soup and it was basically chicken broth with gelatin.

The 3 bedroom ocean view villa was amazing.So spacious, so incredibly clean.Absolute luxury. Clean swimming pool areas, beach and all facilities.Reasonable price drinks. Great buffet. Second time staying at Marriott. Won't be our last..thank you.

Location was amazing! Customer service was excellent. The breakfast had a good variety of food. The pool area and gardens were immaculate. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable with a decent sized balcony and nice views. The buggy transferring people to Vinpearl harbor was really handy so you could explore the area a bit

The staff in restaurant could be professional. A male chef in white uniform walking around was unfriendly when we inquiring about the menu before purchasing the buffet dinner. Other staff were friendly.
