The pool. The staff were kind and reception assisted me and spoke English very well. Banana leaf had lots of tasty foods and the buffet was the best part.

The power went out and it spooked me.

Amazing grounds full of lush coconut trees and greenery, a real oasis feel with a huge pool the kids loved. Beds weee super comfy and rooms were big and had everything we needed.

The breakfast was a bit average and after 9 days we were bored with the spread. There were a handful of nights and 1 morning that we there were guest parties with super loud doof doof music and some clown with a microphone yelling at the top of his lungs which was annoying. The place is a bit tired and needs some love in places to fix it up but it was pretty good value for what we paid.

Lots of tree and green environment

There are some old facilities such as the wardrobe and the fridge, they didn’t work

Bungalow was spacious with a lovely outlook, comfortable beds, luxurious bathroom and excellent air conditioning! Lovely pool! All staff extremely friendly and helpful

The hotel area is nice, offering a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool is a major highlight—huge, clean, and perfect for spending a relaxing day.

For a 5-star hotel and resort, the breakfast was underwhelming and could definitely be improved. My experience with the staff was mixed—some were helpful, but others were difficult to communicate with due to limited English at the reception. The most frustrating part was being ignored several times by the staff when calling for assistance. I had to repeat myself and follow up multiple times to get my requests handled. Only when I managed to reach a different staff member did my requests get resolved immediately. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a one-time issue; it happened several times during my stay.

Honestly I don't understand some of the reviews the hotel has gotten. It's glory days was clearly 2008 when it hosted the miss world beauty pageant but it's still got a lot of that glory left at a fraction of the price of it's competitors. The best way to describe it is peaceful and large. The resort is massive which probably gives it that empty feel some reviewers commented on. But the scale is truly breathtaking and that allows you to wander around the resort with a sense of peace and quiet. Surrounded by an amazing view of the bay on one side, and the greenery of the hills on the other. It also has the largest pool I've seen in a hotel/resort, its own private beach and bay, and well spaced bungalows. The bungalows are big, with plenty of space. Well maintained and clean, with great views. The shower had great pressure and the bath was so big it looked more like a sauna than a bath. Staff were really friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat from the world or great value for your money I'd highly recommend here.

A lot of space, big pool area, calm environment.

Everything were wore down, old. The place have seen better days.Only one of three restaurants were open.

    1StevePosted on: 1-3-2025

The most awful experience of poor customer service in terms of the management 25 years

It was dark, poor lighting, only 1 restaurant open, isolated, over priced. I had food poisoning.

Great pool, good choice at breakfast, comfy beds, massive bathroom.

Distance from town was issue they lay on bus but not if you want to eat out at night. You could get a grab or taxi so not a major issue

The lady at reception called fu was amazing she was very helpful and always had a smile for you she was the best part about our stay.

    The breakfast could be better

It was exactly as describe, beautiful spot beds comfortable staff amazing!

Not that we didn’t like it but breakfast got a little repetitive but was still nice

Diamond Bay RS is out of Nha Trang easy and cheap enough to get a Grab. Facilities were great, although beach was a slight disappointment. The pool made up for it. We will be back on our next visit to Vietnam.

This is an interesting place to stay. The pool area is beautiful, resort is overall really lush and pretty. It's very good value for 5* resort with very large rooms. It's not 5* though, the service really let's it down, and it's quite old and tatty if you look closely

Service is so vague, staff don't seem to know what's going on..you walk in restaurant, they don't greet you, don't speak good English I think is a large part though, they have no idea what you're saying. No-one clears away glasses, plates beside pool, floor in hotel room unclean, not mopped. I had to keep washing my black feet. At breakfast I asked for a Vietnamese coffee, got told I needed to pay. Also, no wine available by the glass. Both things that are very poor for supposed 5*. No bikes, and only one restaurant open. It's got lots of things they should improve, but it's much cheaper than neighbouring 5* hotels so you do get what you pay for

Breakfast was great, with a huge selection of local and international food. The pool was fantastic, and catered for all types of swimmers, including children.Lifeguards were always on duty there. Our room was very comfortable and supplied everything we needed.

We chose Diamond Bay Resort specifically to avoid the noise of the city, but unfortunately, we didn't completely succeed. It seems that team-building events are held quite often, which means waking up to microphone tests and house music at 6 AM. It's not exactly pleasant for those on vacation looking to relax. The resort is relatively secluded with a small beach, though it is dirty and full of silt, where you can kayak. There are also complimentary bikes available to explore the resort. The rooms are spacious, with large bathrooms that include both a bathtub and a shower. The beds are big and comfortable. The food at the only restaurant in the resort is not good, and we've eaten all over Vietnam for a month. However, breakfast offers many options and is delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay overall. I would rate it more as a 4-star experience rather than 5 stars. They let us stay until 14h00as our plane was at 21h00. I recommend it.

The small bay, the water was dirty, and we couldn't use it. Bikes were old.

    Room was very nice

Beach really dirty full of rubbish. should be clean as its not a public beach, pool was really dirty too. not really that impressed how dirty it was. no bus transfer from or to the hotel. they said get a taxi. even though tried to book a week in advance. and the banana leaf was the worst service. I have ever come across. two meals. took 50 minuets to arrive and. I asked 4 times for dessert menu. gave up. in the end.
