Nightcap at Queens Beach Hotel

The location was excellent, walking distance from he beach, next to the hotel for drinks and meals. The room was clean and modern with the recent refurbishments. We would stay here again.

We had to wait for them to finish serving drinks at the bar before we could check in. But it was News Years Eve so we expected delays.

Everything you need there including laundry, pub & restaurant. Rooms were newly renovated Good food and deli is desserts served at the pub.

Room was clean over all. However, the floors could have been cleaner and we noticed that the fabric on the bed frame had mould on it, I think this was due to there not having any windows for condensation to escape. We would stay there again.

I stayed here five years ago and the room was very basic and dated. The rooms gave been completely refurbished with new beds, furniture, AC, everything. They are very comfortable. The hotel is well located at the beach and the bistro and bar are about 30 metres walk away.

My only suggestion would be to have refrigerators that had a small freezer compartment. We wanted to freeze some freezer blocks but had to pay to buy a bag of ice as the refrigerator is a cooler only.

Family room was really good with enough bedding, room is modern, air conditioned and comfy. Having 2 TVs is a bonus. One room has a separate door for privacy.

Loved the space and comfort. Very clean, renovated room, comfy bed. Great sized and tasty meal (had the mackeral and veges). Quieter than I expected even though location was close to a main roundabout.

Wow, our room exceeded our expecations. Completely newly renovated and just lovely. Very comfortable, very clean. Brand new laundry facilities for guests' use.

Supplying tissues and facewashers are the only other things needed.

Location to beach and golf course is unmatched. Room is great for short stay. Dinner in the bistro was great.

Hard to say as major renovations are being carried out, so improvising of spaces was in effect.

Despite renovations in progress, we enjoyed our short stay. We were back home for a family funeral. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a nice surprise. Good value.

The room was excellent also the bed was great and also the meals at the hotel were excellent ,great place to stay ,I'll be back when I visit my brother and nephews 1in Bowen and brother and nephew in Collinsville, Thank You Enjoyed.

The room was comfortable and conveniently located next to the pub. The food was nice and the staff were friendly. It was a short walk down to the beach.

There was water running down the wall all night making the room very damp and musty

I was extremely happy with my stay. This was not a planned stay. The reason I had to stay was the floods that blocked all the major roads in and out of Bowen. I booked my room only an hour prior to my arrival. When I arrived the staff member was extremely helpful. I eventually received my room key after a very long and stressful day driving. The rooms where very tidy. Shower facility, looked like it had a renovations done to it. I'm unsure when this had occurred. I had to stay another night due to the major roads still blocked by the floods. I spoke to a staff member who informed me the room was free for me to stay another night. I received more fresh towels . The manager informed me, if I needed anything else just to let them know.I had dinner there on both nights and the food and service was great. I spoke to a staff member on the second night if the roads were still block could I stay the 3rd night. After checking the status on the room they informed me the room was free if I need the room for the 3rd night. I did not need the 3rd night but was extremely grateful for the help . I was extremely happy with my service and the rooms due to the biggest floods in 14 years. I would highly recommend them

Staff were exceptionally helpful... Went out in the pouring rain, & got soaked through, to get us some extra milk. Shower was lovely pressure & temperature. Adjoining pub served an excellent dinner.Comfortable bed.

Unplanned stay due to road closures from flooding torrential rain. The 1000% humidity had moisture running down the walls, & the floor was quite wet. But once we turned the air-conditioning on, the wetness soon evaporated.Louvres were pretty dodgy - 1 missing altogether &1 that nearly fell out when trying to close up.No light in the toilet.

Good value for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Hotel next door for meals was a bonus.
