Birch Motel Bowen Previously Known as Bowen Arrow Motel

Birch Motel Bowen is located right on the highway on the southern side of town, but we couldn't hear traffic inside the room with the door closed. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave in the room.

Value for money. Caring and friendly staff. Spacious room. Everything worked. Bowls, plates, cutlery provided.

The room was very clean and quite adequate for the money. Everything was there that we needed, it was a short drive into Bowen and the pool looked nice although we didnt swim.

The bed was very hard and the pillow was quite soft, usually there is some spare pillows but there were none.

A lovely clean hotel in a good location. The lady who checked me in was lovely and very accommodating. The hotel was very clean with great facilities.

I liked everything

Very clean and the staff accommodating. We were stuck in Bowen due to flooding and the people at the motel were very helpful. Although accommodation in the town was very limited, this motel honoured the booking and did not price gouge. Lovely roomy room and good outlook onto a nice back yard setting. Although close to the highway, there was very little traffic noise in the room. Great place to stay.

A little way out of town, but not too bad. Could not get the microwave to work.

The pool and the beds.

The staff said I was back again as if I wasn't encouraged to return.

Have stayed here a few times, always clean and fresh. Is on highway so great for an overnight when travelling through. Great pool. Good parking if you have boat or trailer.

Affordable, neat, convenient and comfortable. A quiet little private outside sitting area also attached facing away from prevailing afternoon sun.

Wonky shower door.

was in a ok location, the room was nice . Its good for a night for travelling through

there was no hot water for showers in the morning which didnt bother me as i have cold showers but my hubby was not happy

How big the rooms were, also the view of the back access, was good to sit & enjoy a quiet, peaceful coffee the next morning

Staff were very personable. Room was spacious and clean. Pool was sparkling.

The traffic

Passable

Cleaners need to pay more attention to detail. Our initial room hadn’t even been cleaned was given another room can see a lot more attention needs to be given in cleaning bed making etc and removal of the huge fly catcher that was outside the room that smelt really bad so Kept the door shut . Could do with a more modern look and update. Is ok for a 1 night stay .

Clean, hot shower, cold aircon, clean linen, comfortable pillows and bed. Pool temp perfect ?

Pool was great and room was quite spacious.

Signage was a little confusing and wifi dropped out a little, but reception did try to assist.

Location is excellent. A little off the highway so there wasn't any road noise.

Both chairs in the room were uncomfortable.

Location was fabulous. Room was huge and comfy. I loved the parking in front of the unit so I could see my car. Staff were outstanding and went above and beyond. Will definitely be back.

The room was very clean

The place is quite old and a fair way out of town Zed

Clean and everything worked

Bit far from town

Very clean and bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure

A bit dated, but under new management and clearly a work in progress being renovated , but was clean and comfortable.

packing the car about 6AM and left the door open for a few minutes, which allowed dozens of mosquitoes to get in the car, swatting them for hours while driving.
