Pros +
- Position is great and the breakfast was simple but good.
- It was an historic house with a story behind it. Beautifully restored. A grand building, built of timber shipped from Hobart.
- nice old large house charming
Cons -
- Our room was small and over the entrance so fairly noisy, the Wifi was also non existent in the room.
- On-site parking a little problem, as no lines marked and thoughtless people took up two spaces. So room for fewer cars. But owners said they are going to rectify this.
- Walls between rooms not sound proof. Could hear person snoring in the room next to us! And could hear all footsteps from people in the room above us.

Beautiful heritage home.

Beautiful old building with "old world charm". The room we stayed in had a peaceful view of the gardens, and was very comfortable. The location was great being half way in between Regatta Point and Strahan village.
A charming historic building full of character, yet well maintained and fitted with modern comforts like a good TV and fridge. The common areas, verandahs, and gardens add to the atmosphere, and breakfast was fresh and satisfying.Rooms are small but comfortable and the reception isn’t always manned, unsurprising given the size, but overall, if you’re staying in Strahan, this is exactly the kind of place you want.
I liked the visual aspects of the Manor.
Bed wasn't the best, there were multiple cobwebs in the bathroom which should have been cleaned up, it would have made for a better experience, however overall was happy.
Cosy and welcoming shared spaces. Friendly staff, easy parking, close to town.
Nice period building needs a tidy up. Nice restaurant down the road
Expensive for what you get. No restaurant
Rooms were quaint and next to our travelling companions was much appreciated
Couldn't get a staffed checkout when leaving. Wasn't early either.
The position of the property was great I
I had to carry my bags up stairs the property had a nice feel about it
Very friendly staff, facilities were first class. The location was very central and you have lovely walk into town, about 10 minutes. Would highly recommend
I would make the carpark a bit larger or have a secondary carpark
The Manor is gorgeous, the location is great and our room had elevated views across the harbour and was beautifully furnished as was the manor with library and billiard room for the guests. Thomas was a great host. Very comfortable.
The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly having dead flies on the window sills and was quite dusty. Due to a plumbing problem that was being fixed between 11pm and 1 am we didn't have the best of sleeps but I'm sure our situation was a one off and the bed was comfortable.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. The building was very grand with a nice guest lounge area near reception.
Unfortunately the house is in dire need of repairs and maintenance. Our room had dead flies on the window sills and a seriously large gap under our door.
Old world charm. Lovely staff. Comfortable bed. Beautiful sitting areas.
Thin walls. ?
Beautiful accomodation, so close to fabulous scenery. The staff were lovely and the fire set each evening in the lounge was very welcoming after a day out.
Nice heritage property with cozy common rooms with fire places. Rooms were comfortable and clean and property was in a good location.
Great vibe and location Welcoming staff Pool table.
If nit picking, the wifi was slow in our room (7) and the bath plug didn’t fit but other than that, gold stars all found.
Comfortable and great location with attentive staff.
This a charming well kept heritage property, the staff are friendly, service is great and the restaurant exceptional.
It was hot during our stay, and the rooms are not air conditioned, nevertheless our experience was enjoyable, I would like to return.
