Motel Strahan

The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the new owners. We hope they do well.

The bathroom is probably a bit dated and did not have a walk in shower which when you get older is more of a concern.

Location and room size are good. Bed is ok.

No kitchen utensils, no microwave to warm food if you need. Room is okay for shower and sleeping but not to relax.

Clean, affordable, and there was food in the room available for purchase. This swas really handy because we arrived late and nothing was open when we got there.

Everything was great.

The quiet location and the comfort of the room. The king-size bed was a lovely surprise and very comfortable. We brought our own eat-in breakfast cereals and found the cutlery and crockery perfect for our needs.

The shower set-up was a bit hit and miss but once working it was great.

Perfect location, ample of parking, comfortable beds, clean and large showers, walking distance to cafes and staff very helpful. Would recommend and return.

Very nicely renovated older motel. Gent in reception was very nice and helpful. Room was well set up, nicely renovated and comfy. The grounds need some attention and don't create a good first impression but don't let that put you off. The accommodation is good value and we would stay again.

Room dirty, bed hard, bed side lights not working. Not in good condition at all.

The location was great. Close to the water and a pathway that you could walk all the way into the Main Street.

We arrived early and was able to checkin early. Staff were super friendly and welcoming.good tv and WiFi reception.

No microwave or cook top.Toilet roll holder rusty.

Very Friendly and excellent service. Good crash pad after long day and reasonable sized room with smart tv to keep the kids entertained. Close to food and all amenities.

Good clean room and comfortable beds. Loved the Nespresso machine and unlimited refills of capsules. :) :)

Would be good if:1) there were more night lights around the property;2) table and chairs at the balcony area were not well maintained.

When we changed the booking date we price was reduced possibly because of cancellations due to the severe weather which affected most of the state. We were able to to request a slightly earlier check in time. The water pressure in the shower was great and the water stayed hot.

The room was small. The location only has one quite awful takeaway food shop nearby, nothing else is walking distance. The was no microwave nor toaster although they are provided in the communal laundry. We were missing the towels for the third adult which was included in our booking. The parking is not under cover. I don't think we'd stay again as it wasn't comfortable nor value for money.

The motel is clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Great price and close to everything. Short walk to store around the corner.
