The breakfast was the best we had on our family vacation in Europe! The room was very nice and the entire hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and it is a short walk to the city center. The room was ready early which was a bonus for us as we were allowed to check in early right after we arrived via the train.

The staff is super collaborative and of great help. Customer assistance is a top notch. The restaurant, despite the small offer because of ongoing renovation works, was excellent.

Heat for bathroom and room broken. Old Hotel wooden floors noisy, not quite. 1 elevator old and slow. Breakfast so so. Eat quick a lot of crying children.

Central, quiet, clean bathroom. Professional staff. Good breakfast options.

The common areas on the ground floor were nice. The staff friendly and helpful.

Our room on the 4th floor was small with a very boring interior and had no charm. But we slept well and it worked for the one night we stayed.

The staff was very polite and trying to help. The room was very bright and spacious. Nevertheless the hotel cannot compete with other hotels of the same price category.

The interaction with the staff was really friendly, polite, and they were trying to help, but in our impression they were all very young and did not make a very experienced impression. The room was clean, but there were quite a few things that one would not expect from a hotel room of this category: The bottle of shower gel in the corresponding holder was missing.There are no phones in the hotel to call the reception (according to staff the system was abolished because it is too expensive). Some equipment looked a bit run-down or "improvised" (e.g. cracks in the washing basin, electric extension cords installed in different locations). We found still a used coffee capsula in the coffee machine, which was for some reasons also not installed properly and plugged in. The breakfast was impressively diverse, but one needs to pay extra for "fine coffee" (cappuccino, etc.). At check-in we were asked to book a time slot for breakfast during the already short breakfast time until 9:30, because we were told that 9 will be very crowded. Since apparently everybody was told the same, the restaurant was almost empty at 9, but crowded before...When we were about to check out at 10:30 we could barely walk the coridor, because of all the cleaning equipment, cleaning trolleys, and the fact that almost all room doors on this corridor were blocked open with used towels probably indicating which rooms need cleaning for the cleaning staff. It was really a challenge when trying to maneuver our pram and baggage from the room to the small lift even before the official check-out time.During dinner in the hotel restaurant, we realised that we have to change our baby and asked if there was any baby changing table around, which we were told was not the case, but we could use a sofa in a back room. The next day, we found out by chance that there was one very nicely prepared one just in the publicly accessible bathrooms in the lobby, but the staff was not aware of this.

Great location that allows easy access to Halmstad centrum. I would like to give extra praise to the staff that without any hesitations helped us change our room. Very nice breakfast buffet ?

Sofa bed for our daughter was very noisy.Very hot, no ac, though there was a fan.Lifts very slow. Parts of the hotel were very worn, and needs the planned renovation badly.Paid extra for our dog, but no bed, food or water bowl (which other hotels provide).

Nice location, clean and comfortable room. I like the nearby location of the electrical charging parking. It's really nice to drive out in the morning with a 100% charged car.

Maybe too efficient cleaning up the tables at the breakfast.

Great location opposite the train station and next to a park. Standard room was good size and clean. Restaurant was very good. Staff were very friendly.

Room was very hot at night and we couldn't open the window fully. Less of an issue if you visit when it is cold.

The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the Central Station, and it is an easy walk to the town with its variety of shops, cafe’s & restaurants. The hotel has a comfortable reception lounge area with coffee & tea always available. The fabulous buffet breakfast is a great start to the day. The reception staff are friendly & helpful, and the cleaning staff do a great job.

I have no complaints
