Everything was very good,I had a very comfortable stay. The room was great and clean, the bed very comfy, breakfast was very good with options and reception very helpful and professional.I will visit again in the future.Totally recommended.

The only thing that was off to me was the lack of air conditioning in the gym.

Nice hotel, clean room, available parking. The best hotel in Kavala.

    3ДианPosted on: 1-2-2025

The staff were nice. Food was delicious.

I was in Room 105 which is below the restaurant, it was very noisy from the moving of chairs above us. The room itself is very not isolated, every 10-20 minutes there was a noise as somebody is flushing the toilet in our room.

Good location, nice views, comfortable rooms

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a room with a panoramic view of the city. The room was very spacious and decorated in a modern comfortable style. We ate a very good dinner at the hotel and breakfast was delicious.

Great views of the city and sea. Excellent breakfast and evening bar. Cab to and from the old town was good value at 5 euros [the hotel is on top of a steep hill]. Easy access to the motorway and archaeological sites at Philippi and Amphopolis.

Parking can be limited when busy.

Excellent location , staff is nice and polite . Restaurant very nice as well ! Clean.

Only negative thing was spa for us . First I don’t think there should be extra charge for guest with what is offered. Spa needs renovation, starting from swimming pool ( which was freezing btw) also jacuzzi , that one definitely doesn’t look like it should be used in hotels ( hygiene ) . Also sauna was not working at all , staff member told us that it works perfectly fine and that is dry sauna that goes only up to 50 C ! Which is completely wrong . After all we only had one deep in freezing pool as we couldn’t use anything else .

The view from the balcony was indeed exceptional. Staff were always friendly and helpful and answered our questions accordingly. There is a pillow menu ensuring a comfortable sleep. We were always able to find a parking spot.

The spa facilities required additional charges which is surprising given the room rates. Furthermore, on the third day of our stay the spa was closed for a month-long renovation, which was not communicated anywhere in advance. The breakfast was mediocre, missing some key products and overall unsatisfactory for a 4* resort.

    The staff is friendly.

I is not like a 4-star hotel. It is not like shown in the pictures. Very old design. There was an old carpet in the room , which was dusty so we immediately asked for a change. They changed the room so we could able to sleep. The wooden floor and bathroom was clean however the curtains also had dust. The hairdryer is maybe used 45 years ago i have never seen this type of machine. The ceramic tiles are so old fashion, this hotel definitely needs renovation.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast that was included in our room rate was excellent.

The restaurant is a bit over priced as a dinner option. There are not any places to eat within walking distance. Plan accordingly.

Everything is just perfect. The breakfast, the staff, the view, parking, very comfortable beds and dinner at the rooftop. The staff also showed us local spots we can visit and gave us very helpful tips to make our trip like a true adventure. Will definitely go back next year.

Amasing hotel location. You can see all Kavala from the balcony from 3th floor. The room was big enough. The receptionists were really friendly. We went to the city center by bus No. 11. Schedule you can find on internet, about half an hour every day. The bus station is 50 m from the hotel.

In august the hotel was a little bit crowdy, because of that at the moment it's running out some food: tomatoes, salami, cheese, fruits. One day I must waiting a while for those foods that cook bring it again.

Location , great view from the roof , breakfast was great

The person on the reception when we arrived was AI programmed , 0 social skills and not efficient at all . No reason to answer yes/no question with 5 minute story. Even other people were getting bored . The beds are too hard, bad for sleeping and bathroom equipment is super old >> there is no reason for the hotel to be so pricy

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience! The spacious, clean, and comfortable room exceeded my expectations, complete with plush beds and effective air conditioning. The staff were warm and welcoming, always happy to attend to any requests or needs. The real standout for me was the rooftop restaurant - it's a must-visit during your stay! The breathtaking views and delectable cuisine made for an unforgettable experience. In terms of location, Egnatia City Hotel is ideally situated near the city center and beach, making it effortless toexplore the local attractions and amenities.

My only minor quibble would be the shower facilities. While visually appealing, I found the space to be slightlycramped, and the showerhead felt a bit oversized for the area. Additionally, despite being careful, water wouldoccasionally seep onto the floor from the tub, even though the tub door was fully shut, requiring some extra attention to keep the bathroom tidy.

Nice motel, good size rooms. Nice breakfast but breads were a bit stale.
