    Pros +

    • Superb location, central and on the royal canal. Nicely furnished hotel, very nice staff
    • Good location and comfortable room.
    • The staff was amazing and very open to gives recommendations.Location is great, and above all, the public parking is only 2mins away - that is a big plus while traveling by car.

    Cons -

    • Had to take bikes to a different hotel at the end of our trip. I think this was more to do with the hire company than the hotel.
    • The wifi was very weak and sometimes not working. A hotel at that price should have a strong WiFi anywhere in the hotel. A mini fridge would be a great addition to the room too.
    • NO WIFI AVAILABLE IN THE ROOMCAR PARK FULLONE RECEPTIONIST WAS RUDE, TURNED HER BACK AND WALKED OFF WHEN I SAID I HAD CONNECTED TO WIFI IN THE LOBBY AFTER NOT BEING ABLE TO CONNECT IN MY ROOM; SHE SAID MY PHONE WAS AT FAULT , NOT SECURED!THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY PHONE!

The location was great; walking distance to city center where all the shopping and restaurants were. Right on the canal which was so petty. The staff was FABULOUS!!! They were so friendly and accommodating especially since we didn’t speak the language. The sweet man that worked the reception in the evenings was ADORABLE. WE LOVED HIM. I’m so sad I didn’t get his name. The room was comfortable. I liked that the toilet was in a separate room than the shower and sink. That way, 2 people could be doing things at the same time! There were 3 of us and it was GREAT having a twin bed for my daughter while we had a king. Her twin bed was in a side room. There was no door separating the rooms but she had her own space. It was very helpful. Having an elevator was AWESOME but there are at least 3 different sets of steps to get TO the elevator. They served a continental breakfast each morning. It was an extra charge but nice enough.

The only two things that were a negative was there were ants in our room and the air conditioning was HORRIBLE. We were so hot all night. It made for a right time of sleeping.

From the entrance and beyond, your eyes want to catch all the beautiful design elements from Haussmann charm to modern art everywhere to a very comfortable bedroom, and a delicious and generous breakfast in the sweetest of courtyards. Highly recommend this gem! Get a ‘quay’ view if you can.

Make sure to get a ‘quay view’ for your room. My error for not reading the fine print, but the beautiful public spaces (those mirrors…) and the little café outside, more than made up for our no-view bedroom. It is a beautiful building with unique artistic style!

The tranquility and the location, the uncomplicated and personal elegance, and the expressive feeling of interesting and experienced personalities. My first time to Sète and I got the rest and peace that I was looking for. Although ‘out of season’ there was plenty going on and I ate very well at nearby restaurants and Les Halles. I really only experienced a very small part and this has encouraged me to start planning my return visit.

    Nothing negative

Everything was excellent. It is our 3rd time in this hotel and we will be back. The reception team are lovely. Breakfast was great. Room very spacious and clean. Right in the heart of Sète.

Beautifully decorated, wonderful luxurious room, simply design. lovely balcony view. most importantly comfortable bed.

i can’t think of anything. i guess to improve a wider choice at breakfast but that is a very small detail

Wonderful location surrounded by wonderful places to eat and drink, and right on the water. Very friendly reception staff. Fabulous breakfast choices. Highly recommend.

Amazing older style hotel on canal front

    No fridge in room

    9ColinPosted on: 9-29-2024

The hotel is ideally situated. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The building has lots of character.

The range of food choice at breakfast could be better.

We loved everything about this hotel - where to start....? It is right in the middle of Sete, by a canal, with very easy access on foot to restaurants etc. Even though it's central, you can drive right up to the garage door, and the garage must have been an old warehouse so no worries about car with roof box fitting in to it. The staff are delightful, the breakfast was terrific and the building has been beautifully renovated so it's light and airy everywhere. I also think it's very good value for money.

Reception staff welcoming and friendly. Hotel is in a great location and was clean.

It was ok, not great. Some basics missing. Bathroom window couldn't be opened and no extraction, no full length mirror in bedroom, very basic shower gel/handwash, no drinking water supplied or coffee facilities, very cheap little bin in bathroom the top kept falling off, cheap towel hooks on wall. Towels were worn and thin. Pillows very uncomfortable, Don't think this hotel is run by experienced hoteliers. Money spent on artwork rather than providing the basics. Not a boutique hotel. Not sure why plastic screen at reception desk? Have better in room facilities in cheaper hotels. Very disappointing,

It looks nice on pictures and location is good.

Very basic room with no amenities, aircon smelled of stale old cigarette-smoke when running. The hotel is selling itself with pictures of their entrée, which is indeed quite lovely. The rest of the hotel, though, is rather dated and very basic. Which would be totally acceptable, if priced right - however, we paid over 200€ the night off-season, which felt like a total rip-off. For that kind of money, I expect far, far more.

Great location right on the canal. Walking distance to many restaurants. Helpful reception team. I’d love to stay here again.

room cosy ,parking a bit tight but with good driving skills not a problem...location superb, with a great resturant 100 metres away (incase of rain) a great bar on the bridge,,before you go into the tourist areas ,Really frendly and helpful staff ,loverly breakfast in the courtyard

Beautifully located near the canal, restaurants and old city center. Beautiful buildind and entrance. Breathtaking view on the canal and fisherman boats.

When you come by car there is no possibility to park and take out the luggage in front of the hotel. On the contrary if you find a parking spot nearby you can safely leave your car for the night. Breakfast is tasteful but very modest.
