VS Gandía Palace Hotel ****

Great location, property and pool. Very comfortable bed and room.

A hotel of this quality should have a free towel service at the pool and servers for drinks. Otherwise, it’s a great pool with a very friendly staff.

The location is fine for going to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The buffet is varied and the staff there is wonderful.The swimming pool cleaning staff was very conscientious and that area was very clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms could have been better.The hotel is nice but it has seen better days.

The other guests leave their towels on the deck chairs all day without actually being at the pool. I think there should be a large sign against this and/or the staff should take unattended towels away because there aren't that many chairs for the size of the hotel.The area that the hotel is in doesn't look unsafe, but our car and several others had their mirrors ripped off, so it might be better to leave the car in the hotel parking garage.

The location is very good and close to the beach and stores. It has a good night life and the room is comfortable, clean, and nice view. The breakfast also good.

The pool is very small and has not the entertainment events. It has just one restaurant that the cost for the launch and dinner is expensive compared to the cost. The breakfast time, the restaurant is very crowded and can’t find the table easily.

The property seems to be quite old. The air conditioning was not appropriate as it was hot day and still the air conditioning was blowing hot air. Despite requests it was not switched to cold. The alternative recommended was open the windows and switch off the air-conditioning to have cooler air.When you open the windows you hear all sorts of noise coming from outside, in night was worse as youngsters were talking and it was echoing a lot. You cannot close the window as it gets hot and opening won't let you sleep, this was super annoying staff didn't do anything.Pathetic experience.

The room itself was good and really spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable

The shower was hopeless. Old, just about a dribble coming out, impossible to get a decent temperature between scalding and freezing.

It was clean, it was fairly peaceful and had a good amount of privacy. It was great being so close to the beach too.

Being muslim, we really struggled with finding halal food anywhere nearby. UberEats wasn’t widely used either. Also, this place is quite far from Valencia. It cost us around €95 one way, each time we wanted to go to Valencia city centre.

Staff, breakfast and comfortable bed

The room was bleak and sparsly furnished. 2 prints over the large and comfortable bed, 0ne chair, small table and a desk/vanity unit and that was all! No desk chair, no where to put cloths, no suitcase stand, only one not very comfy chair for two people. No reading light. No welcome pack - just alist of prices of pillows, towls etc should you wish to purchase them. We were on the 11th floor and on 2 occasions had to wait 7 and 11 minutes repectively for a lift to arrive. (We eventually found a service lift, presumably for staff which was quick). We were also asked to sign a document in small print Spanish which we were told said we would undertake to treat the hotel like it was our own home. I can't read Spanish so I refused. Just as well. The hotel was nothing like my home.

The reception was very professional but lacked personality mainly down to the language barriers (not many staff spoke English)

Spacious rooms, great location

No coffee machine on the room, breakfast was no good, untasty eggs, hard pancakes and waffles, no possibility of thanking coffee out of the breakfast area

We had a good sized room with two double beds.The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Dinner wasn’t available until 8.30pm which was quite late for us to eat. We do appreciate that the Spanish eat later in the evening. It was a fine and there was plenty of choice on the buffet.

8th floor. Prefer to be a bit nearer the ground. Strong drain smell in street just outside hotel.

Location, comfortable bed, spacious room

Nice hotel near the beach. The best part was the buffet, it had so many choices it was hard to choose what to eat. The staff was nice and polite at all interactions. It was a great experience.

Swimming pool was a bit cool, but still great.

Property was ok, and the staff were actually great. However we rocked up at 10pm, there was a power cut (which was back on by 10:30), but we were only checked in at 1am, and were given a bottle of water as compensation, which I personally found insulting

Everything you had to pay for ie pool towels ,safe in your room deposit for breakage (which took 5 days to come back) deposit for pool towels plus the hire cost .196 euros a night thought poor value for a 4th row hotel

Spacious rooms, huge bed, nice terrace, good aircon.

Breakfast buffet is poor for a 4 star hotel. Juices are too sweet, cereals as well, lots of sugar in many items.The place is getting a bit tired. Time for a renovation.

The property was exceptional clean and spacious. We were exhausted so used the time to rest which it was perfect for.

Location, it was difficult to really get anywhere. Language was a barrier so we did not venture too far.
