Pros +

  • I liked the location and the fact that staff was extremely nice and helpful. Hotel had different events every night so people could join in. I didn't have time to do it but I could see that there were lots of people doing that.
  • The lady on reception was nice. The room was clean.the location was great but beware it's right next to a school!water was hot .
  • The buffet breakfasts offered plenty of good quality choices, with efficient staff in attendance. The hotel was within 10 minutes walking distance of the seafront, shops, cafes, restaurants etc.. The hotel staff were pleasant and, I believe, tried to be of help as far as possible.

Cons -

  • I thought that the walls were very thin and I could hear people using bathroom in room next door so I assume they could hear me as well. Luckily during my stay people next door were very quiet and calm so my room was quiet but I would have issues in other case. But that's the case in lots of other hotels so not something to really complain about.
  • The walls are thin and the Spanish are loud. Had to complain about the neighbours in the next room. The doors were banging the closers need work. Left 2 days early as noisy. . Should be cheaper.
  • I requested extra pillows, which took 2 days to reach my room. The air conditioner in the room above was noisy and working day and night; I needed to use earplugs in bed. I complained to reception staff, but they claimed that because the "do not disturb" notice was showing and the room was locked they did not have authority to enter. No action was taken for the duration of my stay.

The roof terrace was stunning, I really felt they undersold this in the photos! The staff were really friendly. There was a language barrier but we still communicated fine, and they were always smiling. Check in and out took seconds - very organised! We also liked the array of restaurants/supermarkets near the hotel and it is about a 15/20 walk to the beach. Happy days! We came in from Valencia airport and the travel was quite easy, with a bus stop about 5 mins away from the hotel.

If I had to be picky, I would say the shower in our room was a little dodgy. Great water pressure - but it flopped around a bit so we had to hold it over our heads. Again, being picky- the only thing we felt would have made the room go from an 8 to a 10 would be a fridge and maybe a kettle etc.

Well located for exploring the port and old town area of Gandia. Clean and tidy throughout. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely roof terrace with a plunge pool and 2 hot tubs for unwinding in.

We didn’t use the hotel cafeteria.

The rooms need to be updated and the beds also need some comfort to them.

The hotel staff were very friendly and approachable. Theyy would go out of their way to help and assist with any queries I had.The WIFI was easy to access also. For me the location was very good and beside the train station and bus stops for easy access to public transport.

The hotel staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent.

The design is outdated, most of the things in the room need to be replaced with new ones, the paint on the bathtub is peeling off, the shower head is broken, the bed is uncomfortable, the room is too small, the windows cannot be closed properly, the curtains are dirty, the bathroom smells of mold, you can hear all the noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms...

Workers were kind.

So loud at night.Walls are thin - i heard two TV of my neighbours every night till midnight. And in lobby there is a party with music. If you like silence do not stay there.Breakfast was so small and weird.

It was in good area, 10 min walk to beach. The receptionists were friendly, even though they didn't speak english well. We tried 2 days the dinner, and both daysIt was different, and it was quite tasty.

The pool is not what you see in the picture. it is not deep at all. One lady that worked in the afternoon at the restaurant, she didn't seem friendly at all, we tried to communicate with her as we wanted to pay for the dinner and was first day. She was speaking to us in Spanish and making different facial expressions. It was really uncomfortable. As well we had a clean room every day, but I noticed that the sheets weren't changed. we stayed for 8 nights.Parking it was difficult to find at the front of the hotel.

Great location, spa was lovely

Noisey air conditioner woke us a few times during the night

7AnaPosted on: 8-23-2023

air conditioning and cleaning. Bed was great!

The smell of fish cooking and cigarettes all over the lobby and from our floor as well. Some of the stuff were quite rude and impolite.

8DavidPosted on: 6-10-2023

New and modern air conditioner, clean bathroom, comfortable beds.

Location is not that close to anything. But if you want to get closer to the beach or to the city, book another hotel, don't cry about the location that is chosen by you... :)

clean and good value for money

quite a long walk to the beach - 2km - they say this on the website but on a hot day, it is quite far
