About
This Hotel Casona de la Reyna is set in a historic building located between Toledo’s ancient city center and the quiet, natural area around the River Tajo. Pros +
- The room was clean, the staff friendly and the location convenient.
- The location is very good, on a quiet edge of the Old Town of Toledo. It is peaceful, although there is a slightly steep hill to climb to reach the city center. Apart from that, everything was excellent. The car park option is great, especially on cold days. Having a nearby car park with direct access to our floor by lift was amazing and very easy to use. All facilities are warm and comfortable, which makes a big difference in cold weather.I strongly recommend this place if you are traveling with your own vehicle, particularly during colder days. The compact size of the hotel is also a big plus and makes it very suitable for families.
- We had a spacious room looking out to the river. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The hotel has parking in their underground garage. The location on the lower part of the old town, near the river is convenient to the uphill sights.
Cons -
- no complain, just suggestion to offer a tea kettle that could be a nice treat for the room guests
- We arrived at 8 pm and parked the car without any issue. The next day, after checking out, I asked if we could leave the car in the car park for an additional three hours and then come back to collect it. Unfortunately, we were told that this was not possible after checkout and that we would need to move the car. I think it would have been a nice gesture if they had allowed us to leave the car for a short extra time.
- The front desk was not friendly. The mini refrigerator was not working but the stuff insisted it was working.

Comfortable room # 11, and there was a window looking out above the river. We had been concerned about possible road noise, but it was quiet all night. Great breakfast.
The bathroom was clean, but it was a bit of a challenge to get in/out of the shower/tub. No handrails, nothing to hold onto.
Room was nice, staff friendly and helpful.
It took a long time for the air conditioning to get going. Fridge temperature only 10–11° (51 Fahrenheit), they were nice enough to let me give them some food I wanted to store, but what a pain to have to keep going down the stairs and ask for it. Same with ice, you have to ask for it. It is definitely a bit of a walk to the main part of the town, but on the other hand it is quiet in this area.
Parking in the garage was convenient.
Breakfast was the same each say. Eggs were not hot.The hotel did not receive my deposit from Booking.com. I now have to find a way to get my €256 back.
Nice quiet place, opposite the river. Great indoor parking down the hill, and you can take the elevators which takes you to the library which is walking distance to main square.
Staff. Though we had requested parking was informed they did not have any, which is not a problem. The staff at the desk was barely polite, did not provide all the information about the parking lot. Just enough to explain the rules. Don’t park in spots marked green, but in orange.
the location is perfect the hotel nice the room is good
there is no way to make coffe in roomonly to get one at the receptioni was surprised that they charged me for the cofe
Good and quiet location along the river at 500 m from the historical centre, however uphill. Breakfast is also good and they have a bar.
Parking is a challenge. No space was available in the hotel parking and a private parking with narrow space to be entered along the narrow streets had to be used for 18.90€ per night. Hotel room is good and appropriate but a bit small with many steps even inside the room.
The hotel felt dated. Breakfast was not up to par although kichen staff was lovely. The check-in staff was terrible. Rude and with a bad attitude.
Check-in staff, breakfast offering, decor, overall standard .
The place was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good too!
While it was close to el museo del Greco and Barrio Judío, I felt we were far from most of the city.
Everything was great, the room was perfect and cleanThe reception team was excellent, they helped and assisted me with all my needs graciously, breakfast good ?
The location was ideal for us. We were able to walk the short distances to see the city’s historic buildings. The staff was very helpful.
While the walking distances are short they all include steep up hill portions I slipped and fell while showering. I was not hurt, but I realize the tub floor should have some non slip material.
Good location - street parking cheaper than hotel
Breakfast room:/resto a bit small and cramped if a lot of guests arrive at the same time - but good otherwise
Excellent quiet position.A small family run Spanish Hotel.A comfortable room with a delightful view over the Tagus river Secure parking.
All good
The hotel has a lovely view over the river
It was a little out of the way & parking was expensive at 18 euros
The view over the river was lovely and close to good walks. Easy to reach by car but parking was an issue for us
Poor facilities, bar was not open, staff were not helpful when asking for information, bed uncomfortable, bathroom not cleaned, rather isolated and steep hills to get to the city.
Everything was perfect! Location, staff, parking space, room! Is a beautiful hotel in a splendid city!
There is nothing
We could park in their closed garage for €15 a day which was reasonable. It also meant we didn't have to drive through the tight streets inside the city center. We stayed 3 nights. The location of the hotel is perfect, with wonderful views of the valley and river across the street. Very friendly reception staff.
No tea and coffee in the room. At breakfast, the bacon and eggs ran out when we came at 9.30am and when we asked for eggs, we were told it was finished.
