Hotel San Juan de los Reyes

AMAZING food at the hotel restaurant. Staff too the overall experience to another level!!!! Best food in whole of Toledo, and we ate a lot as we were in Toledo for a few days and stayed at different places and find ourselves comparing eat meal to S.Juan

Everything was good. Efficient staff, perfectly clean, comfy beds, reasonable value for the great location. A perfect stopover.

The building was a little tired in places and secure parking was expensive.

The breakfast was good, made omlettes to order. Well managed property, staff very friendly and helpful.

The evening wait staff in the restaurant were very slurry and not customer friendly. The menu was adequate.

Location was good. 15 minute walk right into the centre but not a problem for us and it was an interesting walk. The breakfast was amazing!

Lovely room. Very comfortable . Front desk staff very helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful; we were able to store luggage and check-in early even though our rooms weren’t ready quite yet. Entire property was very clean.We liked being a bit out of the heart of the tourist area within the walls, but walkable to everything we wanted to see and do.

We received multiple reminders by text and email, sometimes two a day, for the few days before we arrived; it was a bit too much. Other than that, we had no complaints.

The location was excellent - in the old quarter of the city and within walking distance of many of the most important sights.

The property was very dated and our room was spartan. We booked a single bed which ended up being two singles squished together. The amenities in the room, which was quite large, were very basic. The shower was a plastic insert which, for a Four Star Hotel, was a big surprise.The breakfast was terrible, and they forgot my wife’s order so we ended up just leaving without it.The price of the hotel was very fair but, given the condition of the property and the amenities and the food, we got what we paid for … we should have known better.

Not sound proof at all. You can hear every other person entering and leaving their rooms with a loud bang of the door that echoes.

Rooms were comfortable.

Breakfast could use more variety. One of the reception clerk was not very welcoming.

It was OK

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was immaculate and the location was both quiet and close to everything. On-site parking was a bonus.

The decor was a little dated but fine, comfort and cleanliness are the priority and in that regard the hotel was excellent.

Very modern, clean & well situated. Easy access into old town but breakfast is a bit pricy
