AC Hotel Ciudad de Toledo

The view to the Old town of Toledo.

No good dining accommodation. To many steps to get to the room. I had reserved 2 single beds and was given a King bed room.

Location is great - beautiful view from the window. Breakfast was good

Quite old facilities and could be cleaner in the rooms..

The location was great, a bus stop right out the hotel, on the hour and about 40 mins walk back up the hill.Nice lounge to eat and drink and clean and tidy room

We had no hot water the evening we arrived and no hot water in the morning when we asked, all we got back was we are fixing it, would have been nice to know on our arrival. This would not put me off returning as is was a very nice stay, just a technical error, it was a evening/morning cold flannel moment

The Staff and Location

No Hot refreshment facilities until 7pm.A/C didn’t work efficiently.Insufficient power sockets in bedroom.

Great location overlooking the city - not all rooms have city views but ours was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to park in a dedicated carpark. The walk into the city took around 10 mins down the hill but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel (city bus and tourist bus) for anyone who doesn't want to walk.

The room and the hotel in general were overheated. Some of the facilities mentioned on Booking did not exist, for example there was no soundproofing (big gaps around the doors and noise coming from the lounge area) and no satellite TV. The restaurant did not exist - if you want food you needed to eat in the lounge rather uncomfortably. The breakfast was understaffed, although the lady who was there was excellent. If it was a 3* hotel, this review would have been more positive but it didn't feel quite there for a good 4* hotel.

The hotel was very close to the centre with a bus stop directly outside the hotel. Parking was ample and free. The night receptionist dealt promptly with a noisy guest after midnight on the terrace below our room. Lovely clean room with a beautiful view of the city.

The hotel wasn't welcoming. It felt soulless and was more like a business hotel. There was no information to hand re hotel/restaurant/tourist etc. So we had to ask at reception. Breakfast was limited in choice. Air conditioning wasn't working. We couldn't open a window due to a noisy guest on the terrace below. There only seemed to be a limited number of staff on duty, usually at reception.

Restaurant and bar closed during the 2 days we were there.

Very helpful at reception. The room was cleaned well . Quiet comfortable. Good gym, also nice rooftop . Easy to park . Good location walking distance to main attractions .

Fresh vegetables ( tomatoes and cucumbers) might be good additions for breakfast

Very quite, away from the busy city, but close enough to walk. Great view of Toledo

Comfortable bed and varied breakfast. Staff were pleasant, but sparse…..

Shower water was like warm no matter how much I fiddled. Large coach party turned up and stayed drinking late making lots of noise.

We had a lovely terrace overlooking the old city. Very spacious room.

The hotel restaurant was closed so we had to go out for dinner, and we were tired after travelling all day.

The staff was wonderful; especially the chef at dinner. Dinner was offered in the bar area; it was not busy, however Luben, the chef, served incredible food. I think the Marriott should showcase his talents.The breakfast buffet was excellent.??

Unfortunately the Marriott was never really renovated to the potential and standards of that company we rely on. That is why it’s not of good enough value, sadly.

Rooms are very dated, no electric plugs by the beds, everything in need of maintenance.

Dead insects on my bedding.Ant infestation in hallway and into my bedroom.No room service outside of breakfast/dinner.Range of food available was limited.

Great location, friendly service as well as big room with SK-size bed...fabulous!
