About

Enjoying a stunning location in Cerro del Emperador, 2.5 mi from the center of Toledo, this Parador hotel is housed in an impressive old building and features magnificent views of the city. Take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool in the summer, or simply soak up the sun on one of the loungers surrounding the pool. From here, you can marvel at the views of the historical center of Toledo, including its famous cathedral. Relax on the hotel’s terrace in the evening, and admire the sunset. Then you can dine in style in the on-site restaurant with family or friends. In the summer months, you can enjoy your meal on the restaurant’s terrace. Parador de Turismo de Toledo combines Mudejar-style decor with contemporary touches. All rooms offer pool views. They are spacious and enjoy lots of natural light. Zocodover square is 3.1 mi away from the Parador while Catedral de Toledo is 4.1 mi away. The nearest airport is Madrid Barajas Adolfo Suarez Airport, 55 mi from the property.

    • Spectacular views. Public spaces - cafe/bar. restaurant, buffet breakfast (expensive but excellent), terrace, swimming pool, sitting areas, all beautifully appointed. Parking. The transformation of a 15th century palace into a luxury hotel.

    Cons -

    • The service at the desk, breakfast, in general, was almost rude. I think the hotel is short staffed.
    • Not having your own car makes it quite pricey taking a 12 Euro cab drive each way, every time you want to go into town. Going to dinner in town by cab was 20 Eurosone way
    • rooms w/o balcony should cost less

The entire experience was outstanding; from staff, food, cleanliness etc. And the views are stunning!!

    Nope! Everything was perfect!!

Exceptional location with spectacular views of old city. Comfortable and spacious rooms in great style. Excellent restaurant with interesting options on the menu. El Greco art decorations. Spacious parking place. Friendly and helpful staff, ready to assist with visits to old city. All in all, very good value for money.

Priveleged location, with very special views of the old city, day or night. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was spacious and comfortable, with very nice balcony overlooking the city.

Beautiful building with amazing views, great and spacious rooms. Great breakfast.

Shower water faucet wasn’t tight enough and kept coming out of place

Beautiful view, everywhere you look! The hotel itself is on the smaller, boutique size, but it’s such a gem. AND the food is amazing at their restaurant. If you ever decide to come to Toledo, try to stay 2 nights here. You won’t regret it.

The property is also quite old, but well-maintained. The Smart TV wasn’t really working/casting from the phone—not a big deal though.

The view of Toledo from the hotel is absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. The building itself is charming, with a traditional design and peaceful surroundings. The restaurant offered decent food, and the outdoor terrace was lovely for relaxing in the evening.

The hotel is far from the city center, so you’ll need to rely on taxis to get in and out of town the costs add up quickly. Be aware that in Toledo, taxi meters start running before pickup, which can make short trips expensive. There’s an alternative service called BOLT that worked well, though it seems to cause some tension with local taxis. There was no air conditioning in October, and it was still warm at night. We had to open the windows, which let mosquitoes in we ended up with quite a few bites. The staff didn’t seem very responsive or helpful about this issue, which made our stay less comfortable.

    Beautiful view!

No air conditioning in October when the weather is still warm outside. Very uncomfortable to sleep through the night. We opened the doors to let the natural air in and then mosquitoes and flies came in as well. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and dinner and the food was good but nothing was memorable.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful

Uber is not available and taxi service to the town center is spotty..

The pool was terrific and the property is very well maintained. Breakfast was varied and had many healthy options. The room was ample enough and the view from the balcony was breathtaking.

I thought that the staff at the restaurant and at breakfast could have been much better, more attentive and nicer. A smile and a thank you go a long way.

    9SylviePosted on: 8-22-2025

We upgraded to a room with view over Toledo, which was and excellent decision. The view was spectacular.

To have powder nescafe is really old fashioned and not drinkable when you love café. Last parador in la granja had no café at all. I mentioned it already one year ago, but nothing was done.

    6LauraPosted on: 8-4-2025

Beautiful location, lovely hotel. Clean and very nicely decorated. Big rooms.

Quite understaffed, which meant wait times at breakfast and in the restaurants were really long.

    7JosephPosted on: 7-10-2025

View was great and the room was great. The front desk was very helpful in order taxis for us all.

Lots of bees outside by the pool. Front desk staff was confused by the two weddings that were at the hotel and were informing guests about wrong information. Lunch and dinner staff was very understaffed. I felt bad for the workers.

View, room comfort, excellent cafeteria and restaurant

No hotel shuttle to town, so constant need for taxis. On the other hand taxis inexpensive, so works out well.
