Huge room with king-size bed. Very comfortable sheets and towels. Very helpful staff. 15 minute walk downtown. Car rental in lobby.

Great size and very clean. I stayed 4 nights. I would definitely stay here again.

The shear drapes were old ,ripped, and falling down a little, but the black out drapes worked, so no real problem.

There is a washing machine, but no place to dry up the clothes.

The room was clean and bright, lots of light in the room, bathtub in bathroom. There was a kettle in my room and some tea and coffee. Everything looks quite good and the furniture is not very "tired", just fine.The staff was really friendly. The AC worked OK but it was not this personal AC you would normally have in hotels, some sort of a more sophisticated / centralised solution with wall mounted remote control, which worked not really straightforward way you normally expect.The location is OK but is far from all major connection points (bus station and port were both 30-35 min by foot). There was a parking as I heard but I hadn't car so could not really use it.

There is no option to have lunch / dinner on site in a hotel decorations if I can say so. You can order food in a room (which is OK and prices are also OK), but if you want to eat something not in your room, you have to go to the mini casino (yep, there is a mini casino inside the hotel) and ask there. I would say it is a bit uncomfortable option for a lunch, especially if you have kids or do not enjoy gambling in general. But if you put this fact aside, the pizza I ate was just fine.

Hotel needs refurbishment.

The room we had (apartment) was quite big and with a kitchenette that is useful if you travel with children. The room is very spacious and that is a nice feeling! The staff is quite friendly, some more than others.

It was very difficult to have a proper shower. The water was either boiling hot or cold. It started with warm and then suddenly warm water was gone. I had to wait half minute to get some boiling hot water, to adjust it to warm and then go over this circle again.

Room was relatively big and has a sense of spaciousness. Everything worked just fine, there is even a small fridge in the room. Overall the hotel lives a positive impression and has a good value for money ratio.

You will not find just any personal touch or a sense of informal welcome here. This is not to say that it was in anyway inconvenient or uncomfortable to stay in this place.

Location and staff who was ready to assist with anything.

Even though we got the extra bed after we asked for it free of charge, it was not comfortable. The mattress was too thin, and our 3 year old son could not sleep on it. He slept with us in the bed, which was not the best because it could not fit all three of us. However, our son “plays karate” during his sleep, so that maybe why.

Location to the harbour was ideal.

Smell of cigarettes in the room, possible that i wasn't aware to book a non smoking room as all rooms in Australia are non smoking.

The breakfast. The hot items were cold every morning. Nothing was filled up so we constantly had to ask for the basic of items like bread !!Miserable waiting on staff every morning.The reception staff were friendly. No security latches on the bedroom windows No milk in the room

A fully fitted apartment with kitchen and washing machine.

There was lots of noise between 2-3 am with ppl hammering the door or a wall violently and using some kind of drilling machine. Sounded like someone trying to break in to an apartment in the building.

Easy to access, good parking, was clean.

Needs more kitchen utensils, chopping board, peelers, etc. is not a full kitchen and the equipment made for difficult meal preparations.

I checked out of the Suite Hotel Algeciras on Saturday 12 September 2024. Only later did I realise that I had left my passport and some clothes in my room. At this point, I was already 200 kilometres away from the city. I therefore tried to contact the hotel by phone to enquire whether my belongings had been found.On Monday morning, 16/09/2024, I spoke to a member of reception staff to clarify my concerns. Unfortunately, her response was anything but professional or helpful. She responded coldly and simply informed me that nothing had been found. When I tried to explain the exact location where I thought my belongings were in the room, she hung up abruptly. Several further attempts to contact the hotel by telephone were unsuccessful, as no one answered the phone.Even if it turned out that I hadn't left my belongings in the room, I would have at least expected the employee to be polite and supportive of my request. This experience was extremely disappointing and I will not be recommending the hotel or booking again in the future. Such unfriendly treatment of guests is simply outrageous.

the room with a great layout is comfortable and spacious, a great modern gym is available until 12 midnight, friendly staff, lots of free parking in the area on the street. If needed, there is a not too expensive underground parking. It is located close to a modern embankment pleasant for promenade

Really minor issues like the wardrobe doors creaked and the front door scraped against the floor a little when opened

Check-in was great, very professional lady with perfect english.

On booking.com it says it has car charging available but we simply didn't find despite asking at the reception. Garage is not part of the hotel, and it is not indicated if there is any any charging spot and where. It was not a big problem but in fact it was the main reason we booked it. Otherwise this hotel was just not nice, it felt little unmaintained.
