    Pros +

    • Great location near the beautiful beach , nice pool and decent breakfast.
    • It's location in Zahara de los Atunes. Right by the beach.
    • The location, the pool, the building, the large balcony, the staff, the parking.

    Cons -

    • We really wanted to like this hotel because of the good location and pool. Unfortunately, for the €300 a night price point we were disappointed! The room needed lots of updates. The cot that was provided was really uncomfortable, and slanted toward the floor! A piece of cardboard was used to cover one of the windows. The bathroom door was broken and the tub was shoddily patched.Perhaps worst of all, they put us in the room knowing that the sliding bathroom door was not functional and couldn’t close. Therefore, we had no privacy at all during our stay! We complained to the front desk after our first night, and they told us that a worker would take a look at the broken door right away. That never happened, and we had to ask the front desk again for updates. We then realized that in fact, the staff already knew that the sliding door was totally broken before we even moved into the hotel! (They were actually waiting for a missing part of the door, which meant it couldn’t be fixed at all during our stay!) Basically, they gave us a room knowing it didn’t have a functional bathroom door, and mislead us into thinking it would’ve promptly fixed. They only offered us a change of room on the last day of our stay. It goes without saying that we were really disappointed in the state of the room and the customer service.
    • The rooms are old, and the beds and pillows are ridiculously hard. Old fashioned furniture which was chipped. Barely any toiletries shampoo, just 2 little soaps. They charge for parking and sun beds. Would not choose to stay again.
    • Having to pay to hire one of the loungers by the roof pool felt a little unnecessary given the price of the hotel.

Great location on the beach. The rooftop pool and bar were very good.Staff were extremely friendly and attentive.Very good value for money.Would definitely return

Location was good. Everything was very clean and pool area was lovely.

Our room booking said it had a view. Every room with a window has a view but our balcony looked onto rubbish bins and roof of garage or something similar. It was very disappointing and not at all inviting or what we expected. See picture.

The location right on the beach and near the town. It has a walled garden with a sheltered pool for windy days

    It’s perfect

    8AnnaPosted on: 8-21-2024

The staff were kind and welcoming. The hotel had various terraces and places to relax, the rooftop adults only pool and bar was a great place you could escape the multitude of people on the beach. With easy access to the beach and also to the town. A perfect location with a good restaurant.

Our room was a double with an extra bed which made manouvering a little tight. Perhaps this room should not be offered for three people. The breakfast buffet was difficult to move around without being bumped into.

Location, lounge on the rooftop, breakfast

Room was dated, no toiletries, extra cost to be on the pool area, service was not the best, price did not match the cost

Fantastic hotel, especially in the off-season this place is great value for money. Carlos the barman can make some of the best cocktails anywhere in Zahara, top man! The pools are great and no plastic glasses.

Beds could be comfier, walls are kinda thin.

location was the only good thing. they also let us borrow a sun umbrella

we booked this place because of the parking, AC and wifi. and we basically did not get any of those things. For parking you have to make sure to call in advance cause place is limited. The AC and wi fi were not working at all. This was the worst stay that i had in all of the south of spain. this place was not even cheap. They did apply a "discount" to our fare cause nothing was working basically, but in all honesty i think i deserved a total refund. Rooms are old and smell musty, the shower does not have a shower curtain so everything gets wet. All in all a terrible stay. Value for money = 0

Great hotel, traditional feel with lovely pools and shaded areas to enjoy a quiet drink or two. Great place to base yourself from for a trip to Zahara. We went for the Ruta del atun and is was the perfect place to be situated right next to the beach and all the restaurants and bars.

It’s the third time at the hotel so that speaks for itself, friendly staff, very clean, superb location will I go again absolutely ?

Unfortunately my room this time was a bit smaller than previously would have liked a larger room but really not an issue

    8JuliePosted on: 7-2-2024

Location was perfect, right on the beach. We had a sea view with sun loungers on first floor terrace over looking the pool.

Water from the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and there was no way to stop it, just had to have a soaking bath mat. But this was changed each day.

    9RoxanaPosted on: 7-2-2024

Hotel very clean, staff very helpful and friendly, ideal location near beach and city centre

    8ElizabethPosted on: 6-15-2024

Came for the Tuna festival and hotel was conveniently located to the festivities, but was outside city center to be quiet and relaxing at night. Appreciated the in room refrigerator.

Location of the shower head in the bathtub made it hard to shower without dousing the bathroom.

    8DavidgPosted on: 6-14-2024

Proximity to the beach is perfect It is clearly a family run hotel and the do it brilliantly, younger travellers may think it a little old fashioned more formal perhaps but all the better for that. All hotel breakfasts are different, this one whilst good could do with a little update. The coffee not to my taste and that was a shame the Spanish make the best coffee in the world in my opinion.

The car parking charge is steep.

Location to town & Beach, lovely roof top bar and pool , room had a great terrace

    Room & bathroom dated

    8AlexandraPosted on: 6-9-2024

Beautiful place, great location, comfortable room, helpful staff, well kept grounds. We are definitely coming back .Great view from our window. But next time we will have our breakfast in café rather than buffet.

The only thing that lets it down is the buffet breakfast- the room not in keeping with the rest of the place, not much choice as to cereals, no fresh juice and one was a bit fizzy. No fresh tomato or cucumber. Small choice of fresh fruit. But bread was fresh, good choice, coffee ok, fresh blended tomato ?, helpful staff.

    8FrancisPosted on: 6-8-2024

The pool area was great to relax and sunbathe. There was easy access to the beach and quite near to restaurants.

Room was a little boring and balcony was facing a side street.
