no major issues, but greater attention to detail needed re cleaning and minor maintenance issues, but this wouldn't stop me from staying again.

The room was comfortable and clean.

They don't tell you that there are major building works going on at the hotel adding 4 more rooms by knocking through to the adjacent property. Right from our arrival the noise was so bad that even the Receptionist could not make herself heard over the pneumatic drill noise pounding against the walls. It would have been nice to have used our room more but we could not spend time in the hotel as it was so noisy. When complaining all they offered was a free breakfast of a croissant and a coffee each! We asked for compensation and checked out early and the owners refused. Booking.com has given us €45.12 as a refund. We had booked for the whole week! A complete insult! We have a recording of a staff member saying the work will go on until September 2025 and we have photos of the works being carried out. The owners claim there are no works going on at the property so they have in fact called us liars. They should not remain open whilst these major works are going on. DON'T STAY HERE! If you are looking for somewhere for peace and tranquility, forget this hotel. Oh and one more thing - the toilet and bathrooms in the rooms are open plan so you need to know your travel companion very well as there is not much privacy from noises or smells! Our toilet songs playlist on Spotify have been used a lot!

Brisa del Mar is a small, new hotel in the old part of Estepona, and very close to the beach promenade. The room we had was quite large, very clean and comfortable. The quality of the bed is excellent ! The street where the hotel is situated is 'pedestrian only' - only a short stop for (un)loading luggage is allowed. The car itself has to be parked at a parking garage 100 meters away (more expensive) or 700-800 meters away (very cheap). Many good restaurants just around the corner. The hotel staff is overall very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast can be taken in the adjecent coffee shop/bakery. Only a basic breakfast (juice, coffee, croissant) is included in the price of the room. All additional items have to be paid separately and in addition

It was a lovely, well-located, comfortable and clean hotel with a very nice person at the front desk.The coffee shop/ breakfast place at the back was great too.

The marble stairs meant that it could be a bit noisy if people were wearing hard heels.

They cancelled our reservation and didn’t refund our payment

We booked to stay at this hotel in early January 2025, which we paid for in advance. I later received a What’s App message from the hotel stating that they would be shut during January and that they were cancelling our booking. However, despite us repeatedly chasing them, they have still not refunded our money. I am very disappointed with this experience and would not recommend them.

Location

No complimentary water in room . We booked a room with balcony , to enjoy a morning coffee watching the world go by, we couldn’t open the doors at all , or use balcony as there was building work next door . This was incredibly noisy and horrific dust . They were literally knocking down the building . We paid a premium rate for this room and at checkout expressed our disappointment as we were not informed prior to our stay , no gesture was offered .

Excellent location. Right in the centre of the old town surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars. Nice, large, clean room.

The shower is right in the centre of the room so not much privacy. The shower needs re grouting as black around the edges. Not much room for clothes.

The location was perfect the room was very comfortable with a giant bed . There was an amazing cafe attached to the hotel which served lovely coffee and home baking ect . The staff in the cafe were lovely and friendly. We will definitely go back

There is no door to the bathroom and the glass to the shower looks directly into the room so there is no privacy at all when showering / using the toilet. Very awkward when staying with friends. The hot tub had to be pre-booked 2 hours in advance but was still quite cold and with only two small jets - a shame as the roof terrace is lovely!

Amazing hotel in the middle of the town. really lovely streets for exploring and quite near the beach. Staff are very helpful. Lots of really nice places to eat and drink near by.

Centrally located and easy to walk everywhere.

No parking at the hotel. We used public parking about a 9 minute walk from the hotel.
