Location is fantastic

The simple standard room is on the floor level, back of hotel and can get quite noisy in the night. Otherwise, the hotel is great.

The ambiance and design of the hotel are outstanding. It's set right in the main square of Estapona and close to everything. There are numerous restaurants serving the square to choose from. The staff was exceptionally helpful (they even provide beach towels). Note that there are 3 suite rooms available that do not show up on the booking sites so you have to contact the hotel directly.

All of the staff were helpful and made our stay really special. The room was lovely, as were the towels, robes and extras. Location was brilliant too.

Hotel El Pilar Andalucía wow! This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was spacious, luxurious, and spotless including the beautiful bathroom.The location is perfect, right in downtown and within easy walking distance to the beach. We stayed just before Christmas, and the holiday decorations made the atmosphere especially charming and festive.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Great location with excellent room and restaurants. Easy access to many great third party restaurants.Staff were extremely efficient and very friendly, making us most welcome.

The location is perfect for access to old town Estepona. The restaurants within the property are lovely and diverse. The overall ambience of the property is peaceful, upscale without being snooty and beautifully appointed.

There was nothing not to love about the property.

Location was difficult to find because of surrounding road construction.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Right in the square with a really wonderful atmosphere. The hotel is expensive but definitely worth it when you compare the other hotels in the area. We only stayed in this area for one night but this hotel made it worth while. Breakfast was great and the rooms were beautiful too! Definitely recommend.

Would be great if it had a spa or gym.

The staff at reception and the cleaning staff were very friendly and always greeted us.

The street cleaners that were cleaning the pavement at 6am outside our room were very loud and noisy.

A very modern and elegant hotel in the middle of Estepona ! Close to everything, and a house for 5 amazing restaurants and bars (rooftop has an amazing view and great drinks to enjoy anytime !). All the staff are at our service, smiling and being very nice !

Immaculate hotel, fantastic service from staff who go above and beyond. This hotel observes great attention to detail from the coffee, to the ambient lighting, shutters and turn down service in the evening. Do not hesitate to book this hotel, you will not be disappointed!

A little hard to get to/find

Perfect location, great food. The room was a little bit dated, but very clean. I was frustrated that they gave us two round stools to sit on instead of chairs. Please give your guests actual chairs in all rooms, for comfort! Thick robes in the bathroom were a nice touch! Beds were very comfortable.

Best hotel in Estepona. Great location, excellent service and amenities. In addition some of the best restaurants in town are located in the hotel. Rooftop bar is not to miss!

The hotel is beautifully designed and ideally located in the heart of the old town. Housed in a historic building, it has been thoughtfully and tastefully restored, preserving its unique character while offering modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I was particularly impressed with how the staff handled a hotel-wide TV server outage—something largely beyond their control—with professionalism and care. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian-only zone, so you’ll need to park in a nearby public garage. From there, you check in and the bell staff will assist with your luggage. It’s a small inconvenience, but well worth it for the location and overall experience.

The location is so central,staff excellent, breakfast was lovely, our room was very spacious with a lovely terrace. The hotel is so clean and the best reception staff I ever met especially Celia who is exceptional at her job.

Absolutely nothing

I forgot to ask for a freestanding shower as my husband cannot climb into a bath. The room which was allocated with a shower over the bath. The reception were so helpful when I explained the situation. We were upgraded to another room free of charge. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the staff are so helpful and efficient and decor beautiful. This is our third visit and we will definitely return.
