Sky City Hotel Dhaka

The rooms,the food, the staff, everything were so much better than I expected.Will definitely be staying in Skycity next time I come back to Dhaka.Thank you Mr. Bori Amin, for your warm hospitality.

Our experience at the hotel was amazing thanks to the wonderful staff. Ziaur Rahman and one other staff as an F.O supervisor (forgot his name) & chefs were incredibly welcoming and made sure every meal was delicious and fresh. A special mention to Mostafa, who went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed — truly exceptional service. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and outstanding hospitality!

I like the room we stayed.

A staff named Sunny in the front desk,He lied first when I called about the room said it’s under maintenance . Then he let us fill a form where we have to write ourselves our address and name. But you have already gave him out id.

Location is good! Breakfast is best!

No bar in the hotel, yet it claims to be a 4-star property — not good! Even the hotel staff were recommending other 4-star hotels’ bars. How can a hotel business run like this? Makes me wonder if I should book another place next time.Toilet amenities were insufficient for showers. I requested a non-smoking room, but there was still a smell of tobacco. There was water seepage from the ceiling in front of the basin while I was brushing my teeth — which made me feel uneasy, wondering whether it was clean water or a sewage leak from the upper floor.These are all things the hotel can and should improve. The only plus: airport pickup was free — but surprisingly, airport drop-off was not.

The pool was good to cool down in, it’s on the first floor and is not overlooked. Bring your towel from your room. The room was clean and a good size. The staff were very attentive, I can’t remember all the names except Boni Amin! We had the buffet breakfast, there was a fair range of foods to choose from and it was a good start to the day. They also do evening meals and there’s a range of international dishes as well as Bangladeshi food (which I’d recommend). The room WiFi was good, and you have to log in to separate WiFi in the cafe or lobby downstairs, but this wasn’t a problem. Dhaka is a busy city so expect some street noise.

The curtains aren’t blackout so bring an eye mask.

Clean. Very helpfull and friendly staff. AirPort pickup. Central location. Staff really made me feel at home.

Location was in the middle of a housing estate but it was very secure.

This is an authentic hotel with amazing staff who bend over backwards to be of assistance and make your stay at home from home. Hotel has amazing restaurant with really well cooked meals extremely good price! Showket was amazing and looked after us like VIPs.. and helped us book a car for a day trip at a very good rate. The hotel is located in a very busy area so if you’re looking for an exciting experience in Bangladesh this is great - not so much if you’re after another “Hilton”. We also enjoyed the spa facilities .

Rooms were a little old-fashioned and my room was opposite some kind of service entrance so there was a lot of coming and going and doors slamming and trolleys passing but not at night when I found it peaceful and slept well until morning prayers!

They decorated the room well as per instruction.

They charged crazy extra money for decorations and some flowers which never makes sense. For their fault I’ve charged extra for flower’s color in the bed. They calculate USD rate to BDT manually and charged me twice for the rent. Very poor professionalism the receptionist to the room service. I would never recognise it as even a 3 star hotel.

Pictures do not in anyway represent how facilities are. Hotel is really worn down. It is not value for money and we moved to different hotel early.

i booked airport pick up with the hotel they sent a small car for 6 of us when I called the hotel to provide us bigger car they refused to sort out the issue and they don’t care about your safety 6 of us had sit in a small car with all our suitcase

Room was clean and a good size. The food at breakfast and dinner, served on the ground floor, was pretty good. Laundry service was very efficient. Pick up service from the airport went smoothly.

BBQ rooftop restaurant was a soggy, empty mess.

Absolutely liked everything, I highly recommend because of its clean and comfortable rooms, top-notch amenities, and attentive staff.
