Hotel Las Canteras de Puerto Real

Quaint and worked for our budget for a 1 night stay. It was what we expected. Comfortable and clean with kind staff. Wish he had a bit more time as we didn’t explore the town-spent our time in Cádiz. Most staff spoke very little English is not their issue as we speak even less Spanish. They run a busy restaurant - had a decent meal there. Beds were comfortable.

For our visit to this part of Andalusia, this location was perfect! We were able to use this spot as our base for five days of exploration north and south.

Hot water in the shower. When we attempted to shower, late in the evening, the water temperature was medium warm. We're guessing the hotel restaurant is wahing dishes using the same system.

The staff are lovely. Locations with nice views and calm surrounding. Rooms with balconies and terrace available

No much variety in breakfast. No options for people who don't eat pork or beef. Temperature of the water not warm enough. TV too small and dated

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The location was ideal for my needs. Plenty of free public parking in the roads outside. Strong wifi too. Puerto Real looks to be a very run down, unclean area with not a great deal of things to do, and this hotel is 15 minutes walk out of that area and is a good escape from Puerto Real itself. The hotel itself was perfect and well priced.

Puerto Real itself. But the hotel was perfect for my needs. I have literally no complaints about any aspect of the hotel, the staff or anything else.

Beautiful hotel with large clean rooms. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Amazing food in their restaurant.

The balcony was great and spacious room.

There was some ants on the floor. Can be noisy due to people coming in late night or very early morning. The stairways echoes. This can be reduce by having foam or silicon seal around the door.

Friendly staff, good restaurant, convenient location.

Clean, comfortable, walking distance to the train and bus station. Great meal in the restaurant by affordable price (8 euros).

No fridge or mini bar to cool water.

Nice hotel with great staff who were extremely pleasant and helpful.Food in the evening was very good and well priced.Rooms had good lighting which is unusual in many Spanish hotels.

The staff treated us always with a smile; you can feel they are warm people. They really tried to help us with any issue. The location is serene, and we woke up with the background sound of the rural fauna. The room was comfortable, spacefull, clean, well maintained and had balconies instead of windows. The restaurant had a variety of local food with a pacefull ambient and excellent service. Definitely we will repeate.

We were only 5 days

Convenient place to stay if you are planning a trip to Cadiz or nearby towns. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was basic .

Although the hotel was by a main road there was no noise from the traffic but all the noise was from slamming and squeaky doors and guest who came back late. Was impossible to have a good nights sleep without disturbance.

We paid 40 euros more than the website said.

we were looked after by a lovely lady called Lydia who was working under immense pressure doing very long hours but still managed a smile and gave us everything we needed to make our stay comfortable

no taxis so difficult to get around

We enjoyed the friendly staff and the restaurant was open most of the day, the menu varied depending on time of day. Short 15-20 min walk to eateries at the coast.

If you need any laundry done, you’ll need to go to town.

For the price, the room was perfect and the bonus of a large private balcony was an extra surprise. Still close enough to the centre of town on foot and perfect for a day trip by train to Cadiz, Jerez, or Seville. If we come again we will look no further than this hotel. Also, easy access to/from the motorway if arriving by car. :-)

The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was big and very clean. Very good value for money. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Hotel is ok, but nothing special and the staff wasn't very welcoming. The restaurant on on the other hand was surprisingly great and the food was very good for the price.
