Hotel Palacio Marqués de Arizón

Good location near the town center easily accessible by car. Friendly staff. Silent AC/heating in the room. Breakfast was good with natural juices, freshly baked bread, fruit, tomatoes, spanish cheese, cold cuts and pastry...everything. Parking was included in the room price. We thought the history of the building and it's restoration project was very interesting.

Bed was a bit squeeky. Cleaning was not up to the standards of this hotel. Stone floor was cold under the feet.As a suggestion: The space in front of the hotel needs attention. A park with well thought trees and plants would be nice and honor the palace building.

The location is very close to old town

I don’t think this is a 4 star hotel as stated.The bar was not open, we couldn’t buy a drink in the hotel and the mini bar didn’t have enough drink choices, only one beer if I am not mistaken

Great historical hotel. Beautiful internal courtyards and lovely albeit small pool. Huge rooms with separate office part.

The adjacent road was quite busy and we were on the ground floor.

Location, free parking, comfortable bed and nice toiletries.

We stayed during the big power outage and we understand the difficulties during this time, but not being able to provide your guests with 1 candle at night is disappointing. The room was pitch black! Besides that, the decor is very dated and there was a bad smell in the room from the fridge area.

No assurance, even on the morning of arrival, that parking could be possible this would have been helpful especially when the car park was empty on arrival. It would have helped us plan our arrival time and holiday time better.A hotel with no bar, dinner or breakfast facilities available. How does this merit "4 Stars"?Views from the bedrooms into the centre courtyard area show a dirty pool, builders equipment and rubble which has been there so long to become overgrown with weeds and rusty. one room smelt of drains another flooded. it's all looking very tired and some parts still unfinished. Great brochure photos but not a true representation of the condition and cleanliness of the property. Don't believe the blurb.

The size of the room, the very comfortable bed and the free parking. The staff were all very friendly and when we had an issue with the heating in our room they quickly arranged to move us.

Nowhere within the hotel to sit and relax. We know it was out of season so we're not expecting the pool area to be open but neither was the bar and no seats in the interior courtyard area.

I had a beautiful, big room for a very good price!

On one morning there was no hot water but it was quickly fixed

Interesting history for the building and convenient location for exploring the town. Pleasant breakfast room and very good selection. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Nothing- all good

The hotel is a beautiful building with many interesting features. The room was very large and had a very comfortable large bed and soft pillows. The bathroom was well equipped with towels and gels. It was also very close to the town and the beaches.

The outside of the hotel definitely did not look four star. It needs some work. We also expected tea and coffee facilities in the room as is expected in a four star hotel.

The hotel is just located on the border of the old center, perfect situated for going for a restaurant within 3 minutes walk. A big room with seperate bathroom. A good equiped breakfast with all serials.

Big nice room, comfortable bed, nice staff, good localisation, breakfast was ok

Bathroom needs some renovation, it was clean, nevertheless could be better, but I believe that was because some equipment was old and must be changed.

Architecture and traditional appearance of the building.

Swimming pool was just a splash pool and it was dirty and closed for winter. Cafe/bar was deserted.

Pretty building lovingly refurbished. Quite a good location as very short walk to middle of town and easy walk to beach.

A beautiful historic building that has been restored tastefully. The staff were excellent especially Carmen and Miriam who were friendly, polite and welcoming. Free parking in front of the hotel was a bonus.

The parking area in front of the hotel would benefit from some trees to make it more attractive.
