It was the most comfortable bed we slept in out of a 3 week trip in Portugal

It was just an overnight stay so I can’t really Ging anything to dislike. Possibly the tight underground parking but there’s not much they can do about that. Just be aware.

Most of the staff were really kind and friendly. A special thanks to the two receptionists, Tiago and Nuno – they were incredibly helpful, polite, and always ready to assist.

Some staff could have been a bit more polite, especially for a four-star hotel. One day we asked for our room to be cleaned a bit later. However, when we returned to the room in the afternoon, it hadn’t been cleaned, even though we had hung the “please clean the room” sign on the door. On the previous days, we had no such problems – the room was always cleaned and tidy.

I asked a month in advance to have the sofa bed ready, but they did not. When I asked them at checking again at 3 pm, it was not done by 7 PM. I had to ask them again.The room was missing barh towels

Did not like; After I checked in I received a message that the I was registered with all my data in the bonus program of the group - this happened somehow automatically and definitely without my consent. I informed the reception and when I left , she said they cannot explain how the data was transferred through their system, but would take care of it. This is now quite a while ago and I still receive message of the bonus program, however no message that they did something about it.

Great modern hotel in the historic center of Beja, walking distance from major monuments and attractions.

Parking is only on the streets (although it is reportedly safe and you can always find a spot close to the hotel and you can load and unload luggage in a nice hotel entrance way in front of the reception)

The AC controls in the room are very hard to understand and adjust. Only managed to change temperature and fan settings by accident.

The breakfast was nice but very expensive (20€/pp). Loved the decoration with cork and wood.

Breakfast is good but basic. Eggs and bacon were cold. Not a big selection of fresh fruit

The shower gel was empty when I checked-in and wasn’t replaced for the entire 3 day stay.

Everything new and clean

The water in the shower wouldn’t keep the temperature. It kept going colder and hoter.

The location was perfect. We could walk to all of the places in the town or drive to other nearby towns to explore.We loved the breakfast, such a variety of foods and healthy options as well.

I liked the location, dinner and breakfast.The roof pool is good, but it was cold to try.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Beja, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's central location in Beja made it convenient to explore nearby historical sites such as the Beja Castle and the Rainha D. Leonor Museum.The accommodations were both elegant and comfortable. My room was well-equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, an ergonomic desk, a safe, and a private bathroom featuring a refreshing rain shower. Overall, the Holiday Inn Beja provides a welcoming and comfortable environment, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting the Alentejo region. ???

Excellent stay with really friendly and helpful staff and superb facilities. The restaurant was excellent with great local food and wine. The room was spacious with great climate control. Wifi was good too.Highly recommended.

The hotel was excellent, the location was convenient to the town. I was there in winter time,so the local area was very quiet. Some might find that a disadvantage but if you want a relaxing stay it's ideal.

Thank you very much for staff who worked at the receiption and in the restaurant on 29 Dec 2024. All of them demostrated a high customer focus and were helpful. The hotel is new and exceptionally clean. Food in the restaurant was good. Parking slot in the garage was provided. The swimming pool on the roof top was nice, though we did nit have time to use it, We stayed in the room with a sofa and double-bed, plenty of space. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Many thanks for your professionalism.

Friendliness of staff, nice and impeccably clean rooms

This is a great hotel. Eveything very fresh and new and the rooms are wonderful. Parking of the car was easy outside and if you want they also have a garage for Eur 10.- which is ok. Breakfast was absolut top and staff very friendly.

The dinner in the restaurant was a bit over prized and the food and service only so so.
