    Pros +

    • The location is unique, and the staff are absolutely amazing and welcoming! The range of available activities is definitely a plus.
    • Breakfast and surroundings were great
    • Great place. would have loved to see more of it but we were with 2 kids. Enjoyed the activities the pool and the farm animals.

    Cons -

    • The showers from the SPA were broken, and there was no maintenance sign visible.
    • Hotels should stop charging for swimming caps for inside pools. It's too cheap for them to frustrate guests with this "surprise" cost.
    • The food could be better in the bar area. Was all very slow and the quality not the best. For dinner in the restaurant the buffet was missing some options but there was good food to choose from.

Very good location in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. Good for kids: farm animals, indoors swimming pool, activities, etc. Good breakfast. Good air con heating in the room. Free visit to wine cellar and free wine tasting.

Bad smell from the wastewaters in the room, overpriced dinner menu except for kids, you have to pay for any extra activities: bikes, quads, snooker, etc. Poor and old changing rooms in the swimming pool area.

Spacious room, superb activities and facilities, Good breakfast.

The restaurant menu could be a bit more varied

Location and staff makes the difference

Rooms are a bit dated and meals used to have traditional Alentejo food which there is t anymore… that’s a bit disappointing to be honest.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with our family this weekend. Despite an initial overbooking of the family rooms we had reserved, the hotel graciously upgraded us to a 3-bedroom villa. The upgrade was a pleasant surprise, and we appreciated the gesture. The hotel facilities and environment were amazing. The kids' pool was one of the best we’ve seen, and as parents, we felt very safe. Our children absolutely loved it. The overall ambiance of the hotel was delightful, making our stay lovely and memorable.

Although the villa upgrade was appreciated, it wasn’t fully ready to receive guests. The kitchenette was not equipped with dishes, cutlery, pans, etc., and the stove was not working. There was some resistance in fixing these issues. Additionally, the electric grid went out a few times even though we only had regular lights on, and the hot water supply was insufficient for our entire family to shower after being in the pool all day. The children managed to bathe, but the adults had to take cold showers. One of the rooms in the villa had a loose toilet and no hot water at all, forcing us to use other bathrooms. While the hotel facilities were excellent, the communication and organization between departments could be improved. The information provided by the front desk was not always accurate, and there was a noticeable delay in responding to our maintenance and housekeeping requests.Overall, it was a positive stay and we loved our time there, but I believe the hotel should work on fine-tuning communication between different departments and ensure a faster response time to client requests.

Amazing location, amenities, staff and food

The room was a little small for a family room.

Breakfast was lovely really set us up for the day. Not buffet the morning we stayed all cooked fresh. Service very good.

We decided to have dinner at the hotel. Its not great, it all tasted as if it was just heated up for a few minutes from the day before and was not hot (luke warm). We left it after us. The menu needs to be simplified so it can be cooked fresh guys. Such a let down for a top class hotel.

Great setting and amazing outdoor space. It was great for the kids and we had a relaxing time.

The food could be better. It could be improved on both buffet and bar area. The clean plates were grease and the soup was the same during our 3 days stay.

A very nice room. Great nature outside the room. A fine porche. Good breakfast. Nera the wineyard. Parkingplace was big and near the room.

    Quiet, country atmosphere

Rooms were dark and outdated. Not enough outlets. Flies were everywhere inside the room, dining area, etc….very difficult to get your bags to your room, had to come in from the front entrance and pull luggage across yard to our room. Front desk clerk was not very friendly.

It's a great place to go with children, there was time for everything, landscape is beautiful, facilities are absolutely great and staff very friendly and helpful. I truly have a nice time with my son and managed to also relax.

Overall great experience and really nothing to point out but to even make the experience nicer, would definitely be nice to have a kettle in the room for some tea and coffee and an anti slip in the bathtub

The pool is amazing for the kids and adults. We enjoyed every bit. There is activities during the day for the kids and also at night suring the weekends. It was a great experience.

The only issue was that the pools couls be more clean..specially from one day to the other we wouls expect to see a cleaner pool.

We were there during the summer and watched a beautiful sunset while having dinner at the porch of the restaurant. Good food, nice staff, many options on what to do, including pedal kart and a visit to the winery.

    The wine itself was disappointing.

Food, need to improve the quality and variability

    7TorePosted on: 6-2-2023

Nice outdoor area. Breakfast OK. Pool area fine.

Staff needs better training. Receptionist OK, but was uncertain and needs a better service (more smiling) attitude. Waitress needs basic training. Menu far from exciting. Recommend use of uniforms in restaurant. Rooms seems a bit outdated and had an unfresh smell. We liked the wine tour, but the tasting was not so good as we got wine with cork taste.
