    Pros +

    • The kind staff and the location were the high points of this hotel. There was always parking spots available just in from of the hotel, although paid (except on Sundays). The hotel was located close enough to walk to the city center and the ferries to Troia.
    • The staff were great! I especially liked Ricco, the mascot senior fox terrier who greeted me upon my arrival. We became great friends!
    • staff was very friendly and breakfast was good for a small place

    Cons -

    • The room floor was dusty, making us using shoes inside the room. The walks and room door were super thin. We could hear everyone from the rooms around us talking, as well as hear people's conversations when we passed by the corridors.
    • Building is a bit aged and could use an interior refresh.
    • off street parking

a full service hotel so easy to find, check in and out. good sized room. Bed was fairly comfortable.

Building is a bit old and dated as is the decor.

We didn’t stay because our booking was cancelled, even though we paid for it.

They didn’t honor our booking and we spent an hour waiting at the check in desk, only to find out we had to start looking elsewhere for a place to stay. After 3 days we were refunded, but it was disappointing and frustrating.

    Basic hotel with breakfast service

A little out of the way and very basic room, bed not the most comfortable

    Good staff. Good WiFi coverage.

Location not too good for what we wanted to do. It says free parking, however, there are only THREE free spaces for the hotel. There is a parking area immediately in front where it costs around 10 euro per day ..The maximum time you can put in the meter is 4 hours which means you have to return to pay again. The parking is free after 1pm Saturday and free on Sunday so it only affects midweek guests.

Polite and pleasant hotel staff. Breakfast.

I had a very poor experience at this hotel. To begin with, the parking availability information is misleading. There are only a few spots available, and they are always taken. The hotel's overall interior is old, possibly from the 1980s or 1990s, and has a desolate appearance. The room interior shows signs of aging, with peeling wallpaper in some places. The furniture is old, worn-out, and neglected. There are hardly enough outlets, and no USB ports for charging devices. The lighting is very poor and somber, with a confusing light switch configuration. The TV has a screen no larger than that of a PC monitor. The bathroom shower has drainage problems, and the showerhead is terrible. The hotel staff is the only aspect that brings some relief. They are pleasant, polite, and do their best considering the sorrowful state of the building. The breakfast is okay.

    Good location

Doesn't look anything like the pictures. All the website pictures must be of the suites. The rooms are half that size.

    8Ford.kaPosted on: 5-14-2024

Pleasant hotel located within walking distance of the old town and the riverside. Fairly large rooms and sizeable bathroom fitted with marble. Breakfast not very varied but quite OK. Reserved parking places in front of the hotel are few but there is a very large paid parking right there.

    8LefflerPosted on: 5-7-2024

The staff was absolutely wonderful. The Mascot Terrier is adorable. The location puts you within the city center

The TV was too small, the Beds a little too hard, & blankets a little too scratchy, but everything else makes up for it

    7JanePosted on: 4-28-2024

    Good

Bed very hard, uncomfortable and pillows lumpy. Lift noise annoying early and late.No kettle or a tea bag just to make a warm drink when I wake up!

    5tjoePosted on: 4-20-2024

The check in and receptionist were nice.

Room did not seem clean. Wi-Fi was very poor or non-existent. Poor breakfast options. Location. Pay parking lot.

    8StephenPosted on: 4-14-2024

Friendly staff, hotel clean and breafast was decent. Theres also a garage for parking.

Setubal is quite pricey for hotels, thus was a bit cheaper but is a little bit away from the avenue

    9HelderPosted on: 1-6-2024

all employees were very friendly and ready to help. The parking lot. Location.

Breakfast - it could serve some hot plate ( like eggs );Room - lights were off in the entrance of the room and on side of the bed; These are details that do not impact in my evaluation, I love the place and recommend it

    10JohnPosted on: 12-1-2023

I liked the hotel. Rooms were clean as also the washroom and toilets were very clean. Location of the hotel in Setubal was good too. We enjoyed the breakfast specially with Chef Florina who was really very sweet, jovial, kind and entertained us with her lovely voice singing to her tunes. I must say Chef Florina and her team mates were very good and cordial too. Looking up to go there again whenever I plan a trip back in Setubal, Portugal. Thank you very much for everything.

Everything was alright except the WiFi, we could send messages but could not answer whatsapp calls or either call back and talk, So I recommend the Hotel to work on this part. Rest overall, too good to be there again.
