Pros +
- Used to be a ground hotel and could be again lots of areas to hang out with not just your room
- Location and cleanliness
- The view from the hotel is great. I had the perfect balcony to watch the fireworks on NYEI appreciate they allow dogs (€20 fee per night)
Cons -
- advertisement on your site states it's on the beach it is not on the beach it is on top of the mountain advertisement on your site and at the hotel shows it has a restaurant and bar it does not have. you could tell at one point in the hotel's life it did
- Air condition did not meet the demand
- The only rooms with great view have a king bed.

The only rooms with great view have a king bed.
The view was nice and the free breakfast was pretty good. The reception staff were friendly.
The property is worn and in need of renovation.
Views were amazing
No furniture other than beds in the room-looked empty for how big the room was and the ac did not work well
The views
Exterior and interior finishes were in need of maintenance. Curtains were torn, doors misaligned, caulking in bathroom was poorly done. Mystery knobs in the headboard.
Nice staff, breakfast was decent
VERY dated property in disrepair. Absolutely no money is going back into the upkeep of any furnishings or landscaping or decor. Weeds growing everywhere. Furniture and decor from the 1980s. Absolutely no attempt to make it look modern or take care of it.
Breakfast had some good options Beds were comfortableRoom was a good temperature
The landscaping was terrible! You could have planted some drought resistant plants everywhere and not watered and it would have looked better. It made the whole feel of the place very depressing.....Some posters on the walls in the bedrooms would have been nice, it was very plain and sterile in the rooms and depressing to look out the windows at the scrawny weeks and dead plants
Spacious rooms, good staff, quiet surrounding
Like several places I have recently stayed while traveling around Portugal, the place is dated and needs some attention to detail. Small things that need repair, etc. Price reflects property condition. However, It is nice to see that even budget priced places are very clean.
- nice and kind staff- a large apartment- a view from the terrace- a wooden style of apartments, floors, and halls
a noise from the floor and other apartments
Large rooms, bathtub, great, helpful staff, incredible views. The best!
Pleasant
No water in the room, and when pointed to the reception staff it was not solved.
Very nice hotel that exceeded my expectations. Nice decoration, very comfortable room and bed, all tidy. The staff was really nice and the room had an amazing view
The parking access could have light, at night is really dark.Breakfast variety could be improved.
The room was large, parking was easy.
Had to change rooms at midnight due to bedbugs which overshadowed a lot of the other problems at this hotel like no sockets around the beds, weird pillows and just a very old, dated hotel! Was given another room promptly at midnight but the room was warm and while they had a standing fan it only worked if the main lights were on. Quite a comical experience. It is marketed as a 4 star hotel but the rooms are not up to those standards!
We had a great view of the ocean and all the freight ships coming into the port. The room was clean and spacious
No complaints
A fantastic building with great potential, featuring very spacious rooms. The 360-degree views surrounding the hotel are breathtaking.
The hotel isn’t fully utilizing its potential. The rooftop area is poorly maintained, with some broken chairs, though it has enormous promise. They could enhance the space by adding comfortable seating and an outdoor bar, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast or evening drinks with a view. The rooms are spacious, but the bathroom could use some attention. The floors are a bit noisy, as I could hear other guests walking in their rooms. The interior design also needs an update to make the space feel cozier and more inviting.
Spacious and clean. Nice views over Setubal.
Our balcony door wouldn’t lock and the person at the front desk looked into this for us while we were out. Unfortunately, it was broken and would not lock at all, but we were not offered another room, seemed this was nothing alarming and that we should just sleep with an open door.Property a little dated and quite far from any amenities.
Disappointing
Reception was OK although the first receptionist seemed amazed and unknowledgable to be asked where the nearest beach was.We had to ask for a new room because - the curtains were falling down in the first room. Also there was only one bedside lamp. The toilet seat was damaged). There was no plug in the bath and the shower could only be used if you held the shower over you yourself. The bar was not open at all. A porter had to be found to serve you a drink and then you could not charge the drinks to your room. The roof terrace was unswept, the tables needed wiping - all of the terrace was very messy. The restaurant menu was very limited - a lot of items were "off" so we went out to try and find somewhere to eat. The best and most helpful person was the porter.
Very big spaces. Balkon/terace cozld be cleaner.
Not same as on pictures.
