Beautiful property within the walls of Evora-everything we wanted to see was within walking distance!The breakfast was tasty with eggs or pancakes cooked to order. The staff provided excellent directions to attractions in town and gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants.10/10 recommend a stay here again!

We appreciated the riendly informative staff. The hotel provided a good introduction to the city and great restaurant recommendations. João was especially helpful. The location was great for exploring all the sites. We didn’t have a car, and found the hotel’s location a convenient 5 minute Bolt ride from the Flix bus stop. We were in Evora for some rainy weather and big oversized umbrellas were provided. The breakfast felt luxurious, with lots of fresh fruit, sweets, and made to order eggs and pancakes.

Our room was a bit chilly. We had trouble figuring out the heat remote.

This was the third time I've stayed here in the last 20 years. It has a great location inside the walls of Evora, and is on a quiet street. It has comfy communal space, and the staff is very helpful. My only comment would be that the breakfast, which was once exceptional, is now only above average.

The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. It’s a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. I truly loved my time there.

What a treat it was to stay here! The staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. Excellent location just inside the ancient walled city and an easy walk to every point within. Bonus underground parking for a reasonable price. We had a suite on the second floor and it was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet with blackout window treatments guaranteeing peaceful sleep. Large bathroom with great water pressure and a deep tub. Typical Portuguese breakfast and a comfy lounge. Staff was very helpful providing guidance for sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, and help securing reservations. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer.

The only criticism I have is with the partial shower door that doesn’t do much to keep the water from escaping onto the floor

Staff is professional, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are charming and well appointed, property is quiet, and still just a few minutes walk to the central plaza. Excellent breakfast with made-to-order eggs and pancakes. A beautiful outdoor patio when weather permits, and a cozy and comfy lounging area inside. The covered parking garage is a plus!

The location was an easy walk to the city center and all the attractions. The breakfast was lovely each day. Fresh and different cakes were available along with fresh fruit, coffee, cereal, tomatoes, cheese and they also came around and took orders for eggs, bacon, omelets, and pancakes which all were included.

Room 8 had a strange old wet smell that hit pretty hard when walking in. And my husband’s pillow smelled horrible. The room is quite old and could use an overhaul.

The location, just inside the wall with parking, was perfect. The overall style and decor of this restored property was very much in keeping with the historical setting. The staff was very helpful. We were sorry not to be able to enjoy the outdoor patio due to the weather but it look delightful.
