Pros +
- The property was beautiful and the landscaping was lovely. The staff—especially in the restaurant—were welcoming and professional. The bed was comfortable.
- Overall, I had a positive experience during my stay. The pool area offers a beautiful view, as does the breakfast space—both very relaxing places to start the day. The breakfast had a good variety, including both standard options and some local specialties from Évora, like the regional cheese, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff were consistently pleasant and respectful throughout my stay. Even the trainees at the reception were attentive and thoughtful, which stood out in a positive way.Despite some areas for improvement, particularly the spa facilities, the hotel still provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in Évora.
- The pool deck was gorgeous as were all of the communal areas.
Cons -
- The room could use a few minor improvements. One of the towel hangers in the bathroom was coming loose, and there were some stains on the paint. Additionally, the toilet being positioned directly in front of the bathroom door created a bit of a logistical inconvenience. The spa was quite disappointing. I specifically chose this hotel because of the included spa facilities, but I felt let down. The Turkish bath and sauna were very basic—nothing special—and the indoor pool wasn’t heated, which made it uncomfortable to use. The only redeeming aspect of the spa might be the massage services, which I didn’t try, but they seemed to be the highlight compared to the rest. For a hotel touted as one of the best eco hotels, these minor room issues and the basic spa facilities fell short of expectations and its reputation.Given the overall spa experience, the price of the stay felt a bit on the high side for what was actually offered.
- Our room was in serious need of renovation. There were multiple areas that needed repainting, old bathroom tiles, rusted/lime coated metal, a shower head that wouldn’t stay put and kept falling down. Our room should have been decommissioned.
- Bit run down.

Plenty of parking and unique design and surroundings.
Bit run down.
It's convenient that there's a bus stop nearby, making it easy to reach Palma in just 20-25 minutes.
The hotel appeared much better in the photos. The standard rooms are outdated. My card-key stopped working every morning, and I had to ask the staff to fix it, which was quite annoying. The breakfast was decent, but it was quite crowded in the morning, making it hard to find a table. Overall, I found the experience didn't match the cost.
The staff and breakfast were nice.
The room wasn’t cleaned properly. It had spider webs everywhere and more than 20 midges. When we removed tissues from the tissue box in the bathroom little insects exited the box. When we complained, the staff said that they sent the housekeeper to check the place and clean it again, but the only thing they did was plug the place with a bug repellent and didn’t even remove the dead bugs that we’d previously killed.
We liked the inside pool, had a nice size and a good temperature. The room was spacious, with a small terrace, that unfortunately we couldn't use due to the rain.We booked this hotel for the spa, and we weren't disappointed, it offered a lot of options.
For an Hotel located in a region with a very distinct gastronomy the breakfast lacked regional products, it was served a very typical continental breakfast good but could have been incredible with some regional products, another thing that it's starting to be common is the orange juice not being fresh, kynda inadmissible for a 4 start hotel.
Charming hotel with separate little houses that offer great privacy and a calm atmosphere. There are plenty of amenities, including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and Turkish bath.
The restaurant's dinner was disappointing and not worth the price. I’d strongly recommend heading to the city center for a better dining experience. Breakfast was ok.
Beautiful design, comfortable and friendly staff
The decision to only turn the sauna on when it was wanted meant that it was always cold
This is the perfect place if you are in family to stay calm. We stayed mostly in the hotel with our son, using the appartment, walking inside the private area, enjoying the calm main building and the SPA. The staff of the restaurant were super supportive and kind with us. Just great!
The parking area is a little bit far from most of the appartments (not nice for a rainy day, without any kind of cover). But you can ask for food in appartment if you prefer.

Check-in says from 15:00 but the room was only ready at 17:00

Wonderful location in the middle of Alentejo nature. Pure peace and silence ❤️Good variety of breakfast.Spacious free parking.Big pool with great view. The room has banheira that personally for me is a big bonus :)))
Spa zone requires some “personal touch”, like relaxing music, drinking water with lemon and herbal tea. When the weather is cold, a bit uncomfortable each time to run along the street to the central building, but on the other side it’s healthy:))))
I loved the facilities and staff, breakfast was great.
Meals at the restaurant are very expensive for the amount of food served, but they are delicious. At the spa, we were well treated but one of the masseuses injured my boyfriend's shoulder because she applied too much pressure on it.
Very nice place, with so helpful staff and wonderful buildings. It was a very calm place, and manythings to do in the vicinity
The location is a good! We loved the surrounding farm lands. It's a good place to relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was great.
In the room the bathroom door didn’t close without banging it shut. The 3rd night there we went to the bar and had to wait over 30 minutes for service, and ended up leaving without having anything.
The Hotel and the property is very beautiful, staff is nice, was a very nice experience. The only thing is that the pool area could handle a little maintainence. Fitness and overall Hotel is amazing
I love the fact that where little houses instead of an hotel you had more freedom to eat an meal inside of you wanted to! The inside swimming pool water was very warm, my daughter’s loved it
The shower area is really bad… the shower head should be bigger, the floor should be change, it looked like a shower in a cheap camping side. Was the only thing bad in your stayed! But was very clean tho!!
Very quiet, in the middle of nature, allowing us to see the beautiful night sky. The spa is calm and inviting. The breakfast is great!
The apartment could benefit from some investment, since some walls were damaged.
Grounds, breakfast, staff, beds.
Indoor pool was too cold for winter.
