Stay Hotel Évora Centro

Location is great. Staff is superb; they each have gone out of their way to help in all possible ways. Excellent air conditioning- very important in this city. Comfortable bed. All in all a very excellent experience.

Motel has a central location about 2 blocks from the central town square, in a back alley. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, hotel was reasonably quite, and it had a good view of the morning sun. Breakfast was expansive, with long hours but all liquids were lukewarm at best, and the coffee bitter.

As I said, coffee and even the "hot" water were merely lukewarm in the morning. The room was small with limited storage space. Bathroom had decent lighting but the bathtub was very small (20" x 4') with no safety bars, making it very difficult and unsafe to get up from the tub. Access is from a rather tortuous back alley that our Uber driver got stuck on attempting to pick us up; walk to the street.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good with espresso and you could squeeze your our orange juice. The location was really great.

The room was clean but dated. The bathroom was also clean but there was a bit of a malodorous smell.

Location was good.

Breakfast: Always out of eggs and water and the coffee was barely warm. I asked them to microwave mine to finally get a hot cup. The room did not have tissues. They don’t offer any. I was there two nights & they only provided us one bottle of water. If I wanted another for the 2nd night they would be happy to charge me for it. Room was on first floor near elevator and reception & was very noisy. Lighting in the room was poor. My room was not made up. I was informed that I hadn’t put out the “clean room “ sign. The rest of the world automatically cleans your room UNLESS you ask them not to clean it. I told them that my room did not have such a sign, and I wasn’t informed of their policy. At that point I requested new towels since the ones from the morning never dried. The shower water spills over the floor and makes it very slippery. I felt that this hotel offered the bare minimum and no more.

Fatima, the Receptionist went out of her way to assist me with my needs.The kettle in the room was nice to have.

Breakfast plates were too heavy. Difficult also to spoon cereals without spilling them.Bathroom hot tap took a long while to get hot water coming out!

The hotel is located in a quiet, hidden street, yet you can walk everywhere easily. Warm welcome and nice staff! Comfortable room with a desk, TV, tea/coffee maker and all that you may need. Maybe a blanket in the room would be nice. I decided to have a breakfast and it was very tasty. I would stay again.

Very central location, clean room, kind staff, spacious room, free apples at the receptions and spacious bathroom.

The window is single glass and has no noise insulation. The water in the hand wash is only cold and in the shower it is impossible to regulate how cold or how hot you want the water.

In the walled city so close to everything. Staff were super helpful.

Some rooms only have one accessible electrical outlet. Free parking is available but outside the core. Streets are extremely narrow in places and lots of one ways so challenging to navigate.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to the central square. Very quiet. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. The curtains allow total blackout. Tea and mineral water are provided.

Poor lack of hygiene, dusty, i think they use this place for sexworkers and drug deals

I booked this stay to get away from the city and attend a skydive in Evora. I got a room so small and tiny. It was room 116, I believe. The room was so dusty and you felt nobody had cleaned the room in many weeks. The dust was almost like you tasted it. There are zero electrical outlets available. You need to unplug the tv to charge your stuff… I voiced my concerns and got keys to a new room. It was room 120, I believe. In this room the bathroom was freezing cold on the tiles. The lack of cleaning was disgusting. The only people that lived in the hotel was the staff, they woke me up at 08:00 in the morning with the blow dryer. The walls are very thin. I did not manage to get any good night of sleep. The staff soon began vacuuming and making a lot of noise. It was so nasty to stay here. I left after less than 12 hours for a booking ment for 3 days. Do not book this with no cancelattion policy. It’s a scam to try and take your money. I voiced my concerns and got shown two other rooms. The carpet had stains. The air in the room felt moldy. I did not want to spend Christmas Eve in a place like this. It would make my mental health deteriorate. The staff working at this establishment and their total lack of proper cleaning makes this place not even worth if for the price of a dollar.

Location was reasonable but difficult to get to

Room was a big disappointment. It was clean but very very uninspiring. There was no parking despite claims that parking was available

Fairly clean, reception staff was nice. Nothing special but for the price it's very reasonable. We were there in the winter and it was nicely warm.

Room too small, there was an appliance with the cable hanging with no socket that was possible to use it on. No sockets near the bed. Bathroom as clean but toylet was in poor condition. Staff that did the morning cleaning was very loud, can't sleep too late or work in the bedroom in the morning.

It's decent enough, it was clean and nice. It looks a bit old but was clean and silent enough, so can't really complain. Location is nice, quite central.

I liked the central location and that it was quiet. I had a bathtub. The cleaning and service is great. The price quality relationship is outstanding. I booked in the low season. I did not have breakfast as I preferred to go to one of the cafe places.
