Good hotel, good staff.

Beds were too hard....They should change for softer ones.

the location - the hotel is simple but very clean beds and pillows comfortable- we were upgraded as reception felt being a party of 3 we’d be better served in a larger room - amazing staff absolutely would recommend

Comfortable room, easy parking. Had a pool and sauna.

Don't love that there is a pool table in the lobby. The indoor swimming pool was too warm, and the pool area and sauna area could have been cleaner. Signs to direct you where to go from the locker room area would be helpful. Also, it isn't clear until you're at the pool entrance that there is a flight of stairs to get to it. I have a knee injury so level access would have been appreciated. The pool is on the ground floor, so I'm sure it could have been accommodated if I'd asked.

Breakfast was perfect, hot breakfast are few in between and it was excellent.Despite renovations the staff made us aware of changes.

The room carpet was old.and the bed were not comfortable. The hotel needs a big renovation.

poor training of one member of breakfast room staff, although he was probably a very recent or temporary worker.also, there was a large number of guests on a dirt bike tour or weekender club who generated considerable early morning noise as they warmed up and departed, spread over 90-120 minutes or so.

Noise. Some bikers were in the Hotel and were extremely noisy throughout the night. The breakfast was worse than other times I stayed and the food took very long to be replaced.

Our room was very cold, but to be fair to the hotel they did supply us with a heater, but not before we were frozen to the core. The road in was in a terrible condition and our balcony was covered in pigeon poo and unusable. The hotel was ugly and dated and did not serve food until late which meant a drive into town for dinner.

Good facilities, friendly staff and easy to reach location

Bad smell in room, poor mattress. Bathroom door handle came off!

The location is the best feature.

The hotel could use a facelift. Had dinner at the bar and it was a mess, cold soup, we asked to reheat, they ended up forgetting the soup…The swimming pool access is dangerous, the floor is flooded, the floor is slippery…

Comfortable clean hotel, nice rooms and good breakfast. Fair price for a good standard hotel.

Location is a little out of town.

Great place to relax, near the city, very nice staff, food OK. We had an excellent massage.

The room maintenance has not been great, some items don't work as expected or at all. The massage zone should have a door for adequate privacy and tranquility. We also got some noise in the room from the nearby road.

Breakfast was very good and the reception/bar area very comfortable. Room is very spacious and the staff were very nice, the overall service was great.

Outdated facilities, specially bathroom. Old looking decor, could use an update. The indoor pool as well, could be more modern. The room was very hot and the AC was not working properly.

Relatively close to the historical city center, lots of facilities to choose from. Room is clean and with good view of the hilly surroundings. Hotel staff are really friendly and helpful.

Some facilities look outdated. There could be more choices for breakfast. A shuttle bus to the city center would be great.

Hotel needs big remodelation, it has a great potential but it feels worn down, felt like returning to 80s, 90s. Rooms are small considered to today's standards.

Convenient to the highway to Lisbon, which was what we needed. Good onsite parking. Clean, low cost, efficient

We had to get up early and head to the airport in Lisbon. We asked about just having a cup of coffee, not a full breakfast. They seemed totally baffled by that concept. We went in, had a quick cup and then went to the front desk to pay. They charged us 15 euros saying they had no way to bill breakfast differently. Ridiculous!

Very clean and modern

No coffee available early in the morning, only open at 8am. Reception was also slow to answer a request about the unusual remote for the tv, a bit frustrating.
