I arrived after walking all day in the rain, the staff immediately showed me to my comfortable room for a hot shower. People first paperwork later. The consideration was most welcome. Friendly staff, good food, clean comfortable room. Two thumbs up!

Stated parking there was no parking. Not a 4 star hotel not even close..

I like the location and reception staff also good and helpful good language speaking

The thing we don't like is the very noisy early in the morning from 6.am , can't sleep after 6 because there is very heavy noisy sound every morning I think this is because of cleaning staff they are very noisy but am not sure may b something else but there is noisy every morning sometimes middle in the night.

Convenient location of the hotel, in the very center of the town. Friendly staff. Warm and cozy rooms

The floor covering in the rooms is not very clean. Since it is carpeted or something similar, it is probably not cleaned that often, so it is not comfortable without slippers. By the way, slippers are not provided, you need to have your own. But everything else in the room is clean.

In town

No parking near hotel, only street parking and all parking kiosk were in portuguese only. Could not tell what was resident or general parking. Also could not use card, coins only. Frustrating and no help from hotel!

Location and great help to park the bikes..

AC was not working fine. Bathroom was a bit dated. Elevator needed keys but they were out of stock for key cards.

Very odd layout, some bits felt cheap and almost tacky, come bits didn't and were nice

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room — it was great for our needs. And what were our needs? To experience Carnaval! And wow, did we ever! All the parades and street parties happened under our second story window…til 4 AM, haha! But we got the experience we were looking for, and this location couldn’t have been better.

The Stay Hotel Torres Vedras is perfectly located in the downtown. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Parking is not provided by the hotel. You must park off-site and pay $12 per day. We were there for Carnival which was exciting. We were unable to sleep but such is life! Ear plugs purchased at the pharmacy the second night helped. The breakfast (not included) was good and we decided to eat breakfast downstairs at the local cafe after the first day.

The Booking.com website was very difficult to understand the differences in rooms and pricing. We thought that we booked a room with balcony, but not so. We were unable to change when we arrived as it was fully booked.

We booked the hotel for Carnaval celebrations and it was perfect for this purpose. Staff are friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful. The facilities are a little tired and in need of updating, but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. Perfect for our stay's purpose.

Facilities were nice and well kept. Overall it was very clean. The location is definitely the strong factor of this property. Staff was 10/10.

The staff and the location are what make this hotel a four star hotel. Always friendly and helpful desk personnel and very service in the lobby. We enjoyed having coffee and snacks in the comfortable lobby. The views from our room onto the praça were very pretty. There are several good choices for restaurants, cafes, and shopping, all within short walking distances. Perfect location in the old part of Torres Vedras.

The rooms are looking slightly worn. The carpets were stained and dirty. There is only one electrical outlet in the room. So you can either watch TV, boil a kettle of water, or plug in your mini fridge, but not all three. We asked for an extension cord to charge our phones and were given one immediately. But this seems a little silly in todays times, and given the modern feel of the decor. Our room was a little noisy, facing both the praças, with people partying in the wee hours. Parking is also not great, and the parking garage a little difficult to maneuver.

Always good to be back there and to have a nice bed, bath, and beautiful view.

Building or refurbishment start 8am with lots noises

When I come to work to Torres Vedras I always come to this hotel. It's very well located in the center, with restaurants and services nearby, and all hotel services are exactly what you need for a business trip.

If would be great if the steeple in front of the hotel may be in silence from 9pm. It sounds every quarter until 11pm, which is pretty late when you need to wake up early the next day.

Breakfast was little disappointing (no veggies, no oatmeal/raw oats), no parking available in the garage during my stay.

Fabulous hotel in the centre of a really lovely town, with lots of beautiful restaurants & shops.Staff at reception were amazing!
