Flag Hotel Caldas da Rainha

Everything! Comfortable bed, spacious room, great bathroom, good location and breakfast!

Location, facilities, parking, breakfast

Easy parking, staff, nice breakfast, easy walk into central district.

Mattress too firm and pillow very light.

Perfect room and excellent staff. Near the supermarket and the park- excellent choice

They did not have hotel slippers- but thats not a big problem. The hotel was great

Parking always available and great location.

Compares to other breakfast buffets I have had in Portugal this one was not up to par.

Good locationGood breakfastHelpful staff

Rooms are small

The hotel was nice and the breakfast was good

One of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. It was very strong. We had to change rooms.

Location close to what I needed to do in Caldas.

Seems like the new owners are letting the facilities go into disarray compared to my experience when it was called Campanile. Service is dry and not as friendly as before. Might consider a different location next time.

Good sized clean room. Nice breakfast. On the outskirts of the city but not far walk from the center

Even though a 3 star hotel, small things could have improved the experience. Paper cups in the bathroom could be changed for glass. Was only one face towel for 2 people

Good location , it’s clean and comfortable

It needs a mini fridge in the room , also a hairdryer in the bathroom.

Amazing location. The staff was outstanding - Maria and Michael were extremely helpful and accommodating. They helped us with directions, restaurants, hot water for tea, coffee, hairdryer, hot water kettle, microwave, extra towels, change for laundry, nearest gas station, etc. Loved the interior of the room with comfy bed and nice bathroom. The common lounge for viewing TV and the breakfast area were very large and welcoming. The hotel is located within walking distance of two big grocery stores - Lidl and Continente. Plenty of parking spots behind the hotel building. The laundromat is within walking distance.

There wasn't much to not like. Pretty decent value for money.

Good location, very clean and lovely young staff.Good value for money as a base.

Fairly basic decor and facilities

Location

Long waiting at reception, for everything. Only one person there taking care of check in /out , bar , breakfast… Rooms are starting to look worn out, mostly carpet with stains. Mattresses are very hard . Towels also looking worn.

Excellent customer service. Clean and modern hotel, comfortable beds and linen, good pressure walk in shower, quiet night sleep, Central location with plenty free parking. Continente supermarket next door its a plus where you can have great eat in or take out affordable meals.

Stained carpet all over bedroom. Carpet should be removed.

Convenient location. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff

Very clean rooms, great value and location. Good breakfast choices.

Beds are very firm!

Location, cleanliness and staff helpful

Nothing to dislike

Excellent for business. Plenty work space and cellphone charge points. Nice bar area. Good continental breakfast. 4 Electric car charge stations. Best matresses in Portugal. Everything is brand new.

The location is good, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated.

Our stay was disappointing overall. On our first night, an alarm (possibly a fire alarm) went off for over an hour starting at 3 am, and we received no information or reassurance from the staff about what to do. It was a stressful experience.Additionally, the mattress was very uncomfortable, which made sleeping even harder. The shower gel dispenser was broken when we arrived, and there was a noticeable hole on the wall on the side of the bed the carpet around the same area was quite dirty.

Easy parking. Rare in Portugal.

Waking up. The beds and linen were comfy, so getting moving in the morning was work. Perhaps that's my problem.
