    Pros +

    • Great locationEasy check in and outStaff spoke some EnglishClean
    • It felt like we were sleeping in a beautiful castle, a place with history and a soul.
    • The place very close to the old town.

    Cons -

    • The only negative was the distance from the parking but once we figured it out, it wasn’t that bad.
    • The parking is far away from the hotel and difficult to find. We have to drag our luggages through cobblestones street which is far away.
    • The walls were very thin and we could hear the people in the next room. The toilet flush was noisy and the water ran a long time afterwards. The AC was intermittent and often noisy when it turned on. It woke us up every time. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. They were very narrow and I hit my head on the headboard a few times.

"location," "breakfast," and "room" all good

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was great. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Location is amazing, far enough away from the main square not to hear noises from there but close enough to walk and enjoy everything it has to offer. Interesting decor and clean rooms. The coffee machine is a nice touch.

Room denomination is a bit misleading: a superior room looked exactly like what you'd find in a hostel but with better decor. A little overpriced for what you get.

Ambience, decor, location, comfortable bed, helpful staff, all day coffee counter. Great location.

The hotel is close to everything so well situated. You can pay for secure parking too which was a bonus for us on the motorbike. The only drawback is all the streets surrounding the hotel are pedestrian only. We were advised we could drop our luggage first before parking which we did but got lots of scowls riding to and from the hotel by the locals. Apart from that the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good too.

Great location. Very good communication with management. Very comfortable. Parking was fairly close by.

    A little difficult to find.

Enough to choose from. Plentiful. Good coffee

We were not there ld that there was as a parade the evening of our arrival, nor that the roads would be closed off. We were completely unable to access the hotel parking. We had to move our car from outside the hotel - where we had been loaded our luggage - to the outskirts of town, where we had no choice but to sit and wait to return. It took 2 hours to get back into town, find the parking garage, walk to the hotel and check in. The town was so busy it as difficult to get around on foot. We saw none of the sights as we had to leave quite early the following morning. Had we known about the parade, we would have arrived earlier.

Lovely old hotel very near town. Good room and bathroom facilities. Breakfast was continental but more than adequate and plenty of it .

Room was a little dark ,but it is an old house .

    Nothing!

Well kept facilities, staff was great, and the hotel is in a nice location.

The mattress and pillows could be a bit more comfortable

    8De1jeyPosted on: 2-27-2025

The hotel has friendly staff and clean rooms, bathrooms, and linen. It is conveniently located to most tourist attractions. Paid parking is available with reservation about 2 minutes away from the hotel.

Small room and some parts of the hotel are old/dingy - but it doesn't hamper the stay. Toiletries are only available on request.

Beautiful building, attractively furnished. Convenient location. Very clean, comfortable bed, good shower. The breakfast was good value. Great that parking could be arranged.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location is perfect. It s an old building fully refurbished in Cáceres city centre. We did not pick up bus or taxi to go anywhere. Hotel's parking is within a walking distance. The bed was large and comfortable. Our room was very quiet at night. The breakfast was varied and abundant (buffet). Finally, there here is toilet brush (unfrequent in most hotels), that I appreciate.

No receptionist from midnight. Otherwise, nil to comment.

Great location! Walking distance from everything. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Excellent water pressure! Wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend this hotel.

There was a bit of noise outside but that is the price you pay for being right in the historic part of town.

Thanks, we loved our stay at Hotel Don Carlos Cáceres. We stayed a week and could not fault it. The staff were excellent and the room was perfect for us. Our bathroom was large and the shower pressure was awesome. Great continental breakfast spread. Most of all, a very cosy and comfortable stay.

    9RobertPosted on: 12-6-2024

Centrally located on the edge of the old town, 10 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor. 25 minute walk to the train station and bus station. Good buffet breakfast, good sized double room with comfortable bed.

    Nothing really.
