Pros +
- From the Check In, to Everything else. Excellent, all Around. * Exceptional Staff*?
- The room was beautiful with extra amenities like robes, slippers, extra toothbrush, comb basically anything might have forgotten! Location couldn't be beat, we walked right out the door to shopping, and a short walk to the sights. The restaurant in the hotel was one of the best we have eaten at in Spain. Reasonable and some different kind of tapas so good! I highly recommend even if you aren't staying at the hotel.
- Clean and close to restaurants and other attractions.
Cons -
- No. A Wonderful Experience
- Our only negative was we thought the breakfast was included due to a language barrier. It was a bit pricier breakfast than we normally have but everyone was so nice and the hotel was great.
- Parking was hard to locate due to on going road construction closures in the city. Valet parking could be offered in those circumstances.

Loved the location and friendly staff
Breakfast was good but not great.
Comfortable room, good location
It was so hard to find it and so hard to return from the parking garage. The directions are not good.
Spending a few days in a centuries old palace is something not many get to experience and if you add to that equation a fantastic staff to make out the palace a great hotel and your staying unique, then everything is unique.Since we stepped in on our arrival day we were warmly greeted by Hugo, who not only checked us in but also gave us a lot of info about the beautiful Cáceres and told us about he history of the Palace, I can say that everyone in the hotel were really nice to us.The room is bigger than many in Spain and it’s fitted with a espresso coffee maker and also a teapot. The hotel provides you with espresso capsules and different teas plus a daily bottle of water. The hotel is very well kept and beautifully decorated, centrally located and easily accessible by car.Breakfast is also a remarkable feature the hotel offers. A wide variety of fruits, cold cuts, bakery and juices. The breakfast room is kept in order and clean by Ricardo, a very nice gentleman who takes care of everything in that place and still has time to say Good morning and Good bye and treat everyone nicely. Ricardo was very helpful and introduced us to some of the local dishes from Extremadura like migas and other things like El Casar cheese topping the bread. The hotel is awesome but wat makes it unique is the staff that runs the property with pride.
The location of the hotel is great, just outside the main square. The decor and room were beautiful. The breakfast was excellent with much to offer.
The bed was soooo hard, if you enjoy extra firm like sleeping on a board this is the hotel for you!
Amazing location. Centrally located, comfortable bed and room.
To use the Gym you need a new key every day. Why? Why not for the duration of my stay? Seems like a silly thing but having to go to the front desk every day just for this is a total waste of time.
The location can’t be beat! The hotel is a beautiful historic property, nicely designed but confusing. I like NH Collection hotels because they allow dogs, not dog friendly.
When I say not dog friendly I mean your dog is allowed in your room for a fee. Not allowed anywhere else and the staff at best is indifferent. Some hotels welcome dogs and owners, for a fee you receive a bed, bowls and welcoming staff. Some allow dogs everywhere but spa or pool. I booked 2 rooms, my room was small and dark, my friends was larger but also dark and looked out to a roof. Both were supposed to be superior. The breakfast was just ok and no outside seating so no dogs.
Wow, what a property! This hotel has an amazing location in the heart of Cáceres. Just off the plaza mayor to be quiet in the evenings, but close enough that you can easily pop back in to change clothes, drop off shopping, etc. I spent 3 nights here and I thouroughly enjoyed it. 100% I will look for this hotel when I return to Cáceres.
Location is excellent
Bad and pillow not to comfortable
We first got a room with no window but then were changed to a room with window
Loved everything about it.
Nothing. Even the restsurant was superb. I ate every meal there--breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wish I could remember the young lady's name.with the pony tail. She was wonderful, as was Youseff. Superb, professional, super friendly service.
Simply a charming heritage hotel, set just off the main plaza, 5 minutes walkable to stunning Caceres old town. Rooms, cafe/restaurant and facilities are clean and modern, set within the historic architecture. There are some minor stairs inside, which the staff warn of, and help you to navigate.
The hotel was very comfortable and in an excellent location. The gym was a bonus as it was too hot to exercise outside. We stayed 5 nights and were very content there.
The buffet breakfast was expensive so we found coffee and food at local restaurants.
Location
Dark, hot room. AC not changeable
The location is fantastic and the hotel is very well kept.
My room was on the square and the noise from the square in the afternoon made siesta impossible and in the early morning the noise woke me up. Also the A/C is set that it does not go colder than 21c / 70f. With the heat in early summer >38c /100f it was not ideal.
Location and facilities.
The website or the email confirmation should have explained more about the parking. It would have been easier to drive first to the parking garage (Obispo Galarza) as the walk is very short.
Very good location, close to the old town. The bar and the tapas served there were excellent. Everything has been done to make the room comfortable and welcoming, including providing an expresso machine.
Nothing I can think of.
Fabulous. Very attractive hotel in a great location on a quiet square, near the Plaza Mayor and the casco antiguo. Very tasty dinner. Can highly recommend the Látigo Iberico. Delicious!
Nothing. Would love to stay again.
