- Parking difficult because old city
Cons -
- There is no parking near this "Parador de Caceres" and the closest parking garage is very far from it. It was inconvenient to unload and load our luggage in our car.
- The staff were generally officious, rude and unhelpful; the car park was a considerable distance from the hotel; the restaurant food was badly prepared and seafood tasteless; the coffee awful. This is supposed to be a luxury hotel but it felt like we were trespassing and very unwelcome.

It is in the central part of Cáceres. The Parador is a beautiful old building with modern touches. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, they don't always say it but they do have a cook working who can cook egg dishes and other fresh options (the eggs are always fresh).
The parking situation is a little complex, it is an uphill walk from the parking lot (it was 39C or 102F when I made the trek). The Parador is in the old town so the streets are very narrow.
Lovely facility, staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and the atmosphere was inviting.
Restaurant staff were not attentive and required reminders concerning our order. Overall they were not very friendly. Quality of the dinner was less than expected for a Parador.
The restaurant was amazing. The service through the hotel was professional and warm. The hotel is beautiful. We were happily surprised.
Parking is the only real issue. They could employ a valet to park cars.
Centrically located. It was clean. Proper attention.
Needs more and more comfortable furniture.
Location, very clean, good breakfast
Needs more comfortable sofas and furniture. They do have the space. For Americans that eat supper much earlier then Spanish people should be a compromise.
Apologies I have forgotten the gentleman's name on reception he was super helpful , friendly. He helped me find a free parking spot close to the hotel. Totally surrounded by old buildings. Some bars and restaurants close but plenty a ten minute walk away. Breakfast was very good especially if you like Spanish meats and cheeses. Bacon and omelettes to.Rooms was a good size if plain. Lovely bathroom. Would very much recommend Parador and Caceras. Its about 3 hours from Madrid airport.
The building is made up of 2 small palaces joined so is a bit of a warren. Also it would have been useful to know in advance as you drive up hill in to historic part that you can drive in past the control cameras if your staying at the parador.
Right in the heart of the Old Town so handy for what I wanted to see. Very friendly staff in Reception & the restaurant, big bedroom, comfy bed and the usual excellent choice for breakfast.
Beautiful historic building in the old town.Friendly and helpful staff.Big, comfortable roomA very quiet hotel.
Not enough staff for breakfast service.
The structure is aesthetically fabulous and historicexcellent breakfast
extractor fan in bathroom was not working
Fantastic hotel , had the wow factor . Location great to explore Cáceres. Rooms a good size, delicious food.
Beautiful hotel. Food for dinner was good. Loved eating outside. We were able to park by the hotel since we got there early. Made it less stressful.
Room would be nicer if AC went lower than 23 C.
Great location
Public spaces were very nice, felt the room was tired and needed some refreshing
Location was perfect. Beds so very comfortable Property cleanStaff very helpful between broken English and Spanish
Location was brilliant for the old town
Restaurant food not as good as other parador we stayed at
Great location in the centre of the old town .We had a super room with a big bathroom The breakfast was delicious
We were given a voucher for a drink from the bar on arrival but we’re not allowed to take it onto the terrace as the restaurant was not open at that time. There was no complimentary tea coffee or water in the room
Right in the middle of the old town, great location.
Slight inconvenience that you had to park and walk but not that far
Excellent location but we were travelling with a large vehicle so couldn't get near the hotel. Very quiet near the hotel at night
Little sterile, no where to get a coffee before 11.30 unless paid breakfast at €24, which we didn't get
