Hotel Castilla

My second stay at this wonderful hotel, my favourite place to stay in Caceres. The family who run the hotel are wonderful, kind and helpful. The hotel is just one street back from the main square so very very handy for all the wonderful cafes, bars, restaurants and exploring the old city. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful - it was a warm welcome. The location was perfect - in the center, but not directly on the main square. Breakfast was nice and rich. The facilities worked without any problems. It was a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The location and the welcoming from the receptionist.It's an hotel recommended for young people.

The bed is too hard, the pillows also, to mutch noise, that didn't allow us to rest. The breakfast is very poor, just have the basics, coffee and bread, and that's it.

The hosts (a family, apparently) were extremely cordial. The location wasn’t real easy to locate, but is a block from the main plaza - convenient, yet quiet.

It hasn’t been updated in a while. But that hardly mattered.

The beds were a little short for me and the room was quite small.

It was very clean and just a very short walk to Plaza Mayor. Good value and friendly staff.

Parking - we had to park on the street 10 minutes away.

The location is great. Right in the center. We had a nice stay, we booked it last minute as we booked another hotel, but turned out that one was in the middle of nowhere, so we needed to find a better option. Hotel Castilla was definitely the best option. The area is safe and there is not much noise.

The breakfast was a joke honestly. We went to breakfast at 9 and we only found coffee, a bit of milk and the typical bizcocho & muffins from the supermarket. Nothing much. There was no cheese or ham or anything whatsoever to prepare at least some sandwiches.

A lovely family run hotel just around the corner from the Plaza Mayor. The room was lovely and the family/staff also lovely and really helpful. This hotel is a great place to be based to explore wonderful Cáceres. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was adequate

We were not allowed to fill our water bottles. The breakfast was really quite pathetic: sliced white bread, no cereal, very very basic.

The hotel is located at minutes walking from the city center. We had a big room on the street side, and it was really quiet. Easter celebration went nearby the hotel. Breakfast was acceptable and included in the price. Very clean and with a handsome staff. Taxi stop is very close. The area is plenty of restaurants.
