    Pros +

    • The hotel is not modern but has that nostalgic charm. The breakfast was excellent with the sunrise and a wonderful view. If you are UK or the English breakfast type...there were those beans and eggs hot. Plenty of pastries and breads.
    • Breakfast was what I expected good selection of European and American style offerings. Housekeeping was superb room tidy-ed up everyday and every third day complete linen change over. Desk staff know their restaurants all of them were excellent. Only a few places have Monday or Tuesday close.
    • It’s close to just about everything in Leiria, but the castle. Excellent facilities and staff, onsite parking with a great view of the castle at night. One of the largest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in for a while. Perfect for a family.

    Cons -

    • Leaving, they could add a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room.
    • Wifi was weak and kept booting us out. frustrating!!! Had to change rooms after the first night... the bed's mattress was "well used" and needed to be replaced. Offered a new roomnand that was better. Leiria has the weirdest ring road system it's confusing and makes it a bit of a challenge to explore the rest of the area. (getting out to the main highway A19)
    • It was not where the navigation system tried to take me, but a quick call to the hotel got us there. Turning left into the parking lot is not ideal; my suggestion is to go past the hotel, turn around and turn right to enter the lot.

The location is very good, near the Polytechnic where I was with the job, being also near the city center by foot. Very clean, each day the towels were changed, also the view to the castle from the restaurant was amazing.

The breakfast could be more divers, eating the same thing for breakfast day after day is boring.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with all the commodities. They paid attention to details. It's perfect for business or leisure trips.

    Everything was fine.

I liked the hotel, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the restaurant in the 8. floor was breathtaking !And the breakfast was good and a lot to choose between. I would like to stay another time in the hotel if I go back.

I am not so happy for the carpet on the floor, but it was okey and clean.

Extremely friendly and service-minded personal, always ready to help. The location is excellent and guests can enjoy the view over the city during breakfast or other meals at the top floor. This hotel was built in the late 1960:ies. It was a modern hotel at that time and has kept its sober touch and atmosphere throughout the years.

I liked everything regarding the hotel. My only negative remark has to do with some guests' arrogant and incompetent behavior, idling for long periods in the hotel's parking lot, right in front of the main entrance, which is a shame but not the hotel's responsibility.

    9SvilenPosted on: 2-7-2022

Confortable bed and great view from the window. Decent size room. Amazing view over the Leiria castle from the last floor, where the breakfast is served.
