Antique Inn

the rustic style and the swimming pool. We had a poolside room and wandered through the facilities, enjoying the rooftop views.

Difficult to find unless we asked a person in the town. Googlemaps couldn’t direct us to the entrance. It is early September (low season) and the buffet is unavailable.

everything was great. A special thank you to the manager,  at the reception and  very helpful in the restaurant.

The bathroom was not great- dark and basic. Did not look very clean.

Great atmosphere and a lot of traditional elements in the design of the hotel. Breakfast had a lot of choice with all basic things you need. Very nice terraces where you can hang out. Nizwa fort is 3 min away. Big parking lot

Bathroom is outside the room. It’s not. Problem, just something for guests to be aware of.

The Inn is beautiful, old style house. The breakfast was amazing, the povand the garden is beautiful. It is located in the center clost to the fort and the souks.

The wifi was weak in the rooms.

The shower did not have a lot of pressure, but other than that a perfect stay!

Close proximity to the city center, free parking, good breakfast and incredible staff. The hotel was refurbished and the decor is very nice.

Google maps pointed me to the wrong direction. Not the hotel’s fault. If you are driving, use Heritage Inn instead as point.

Location was central with extensive secure parking. Breakfast was great and the staff was so welcoming and helpful!

WiFi was very weak and didn’t work in our room

The pool is nice. Welcoming staff. Reasonable price for buffet dinner 6 OMR /person. View on the fort from the dinner terrace.

Our room (number 4 near the pool) needs renovation. Only window was covered with a curtain because behind was a storage space. So we had only electrical light. Pool spot would be much nicer if the ruins of mud walls above were renovated. There was construction work near the pool and they are probably building new rooms.

The property is perfectly located — just a short walk from the Souq and Nizwa Fort. The aesthetic reflects old-style living, with thick stone walls and low ceilings that give it a traditional, historic feel. Overall, a very good and memorable experience.

The property was undergoing renovation when we visited, which was not mentioned at the time of booking. Because of this, there was no restaurant available on-site. Although the walls are quite thick, some noise from other rooms can still be heard occasionally. That said, it’s a tourist spot and most guests stay only for a short time, so it’s fine overall.

Antique, very close to the central market, car park, clean, shower

The room was hot when we arrived, they turnedthe air conditioner just when we entered the room, it takes a while until it cool down. As an imporvent point they should but the air conditioner on Auto mood especially if they have booking as they expecting the arrival of the guest.

Charming old houses refitted as a boutique hotel, inside the old city walls which is perfect to wander around Nizwa souk and a mere few minutes walk from the Nizwa Fort. Added bonus the Anitque Inn has a nice swimming pool against a beautiful backdrop of the old city houses (uninhabited). The coffee and dates in the majlis (lounge) is the best we’ve had in Oman!

Mattress was old and uneven, definitely needs to be changed.
