Thalassa Apart Hotel

Breakfast was very similar to a Turkish one, and in fact, a Turkish descendant lady served us during our stay and spoke perfect Turkish. When we entered the breakfast hall in the lobby, I noticed a gentleman in his late fifties whom I remembered from a past stay and exchanged greetings. Then the same gentleman reached for the TV remote and switched to a Turkish TV channel, which made all of us happy. You hardly see that kind of kindness these days. I personally thanked him for his kindness as I departed.

A variety of food for breakfast may be arranged a bit more richly, especially one product, cheese, which was surprising. I would suggest black olives and fruity yogurt

Nice hotel close to the beach, balcony with sea view, clean and warm staff.

The furnitures have a smell that may uncomfort some people

The breakfast was good. The parking place is big enough. The apart hotel is well located and close to the city centre. The staff was good and helpful. The place is quiet and not stressful. The room was clean.

The hotel is old. The heating system and rooms should be renewed. The doors should be locked before operating the electricity with the provided card, as the key is attached to it.

Old, needs to be renew

I liked the location. Far from noice but close to the beach. The hotel itself is nice and clean.

The area around it is a little dirty. Garbages between Lidl and Thalassa Hotel. We had kithen in the apartment. But it had only stove. No oven. Not even single spoon or fork. So we practically we could not use it.

I only liked the bedroom, the rest was so bad.

The staff in the breakfast room were very rude and sullen! The kitchen in the living room was not working, dirty and empty.

All in all everything was very good

The room was nice and spacious. The cleaning staff and front desk staff are great.

The AC really didn't work. When it did come on, barely any air came out. The rooms aren't sound proof all the way, as I could hear the neighbors constantly dragging things across the floor and slamming their door.

Hospitality and the service of receptionist was good.

At our room, bathroom had lots of different hairs. They just provide 1 small soap and 1 small bottle of pink colour shower gel and that’s it, no shampoo no conditioner. To get into the shower was really complicated since it is right next to wash basin. Bed and pillows were so soft and while you are trying to turn on the bed, bed frame makes lots of noise. To be an honest, we decided to stay here for a night since which hotels we stay at the Alexandroupoli was fully booked. I hope, we will not need to stay here one more time.

This is not a beach hotel, it is 750 mt away from the beach and there is no hotel facility at the beach. The hotel pictures misleading.

Child friendly, close to Lidl market and the beaches as well. Very clean, friendly staff, happy faces, good for families ❤️ there is a small park just outside of the hotel for the kids, free parking place ??

We had the unfortunate to have the room near a familly that was very loud after 11 Pm.
