Oakwood mahabaleshwar

We booked with this property after paying an advance of Rs.5000/-; When we reached there we found that the property is not as given in the website. The location was very bad; Rooms were dirty. Old tables and Chairs. Please do not pay advance without seeing the property. We didnot stay in the property after seeing in that it is not as per given in the website.We requested for return of advance which they didnot give. Despite of not returning advance we didnt stay at this propery. We booked with Sterling Holidays.

Yes, the Deluxe Room is very nice and Three BR villa is sufficient for 8-9 persons.

Parking is outside, we can’t load luggage in the vehicle at short distance.

Best place to stay if you are in Mahabaleshwar. Great ambience, delicious food and kind folks

We didn’t stayed because of bad ambience and not clean and no service was there at reception.

It was wonderful stay in Oakwood. Swapnil, Pankaj and all staffs were very welcoming and helpful. They suggested us about trip as well. Food was tasty and authentic in reasonable price. Overall a great stay...Will sure be coming again..

The Bathroom was made of Filmsy wood & Glasses, It seemed that this has been a rush job, We were afraid that the Bathroom walls & Glass don't get broken and the hotel management blame us. The Bathroom had motion lights, but were too bright, they had three tubelights attahced to the motion snesor and in the night the whole room got lit up disturbing the sleep of other people

Clean rooms . . .. very prompt service. ..manager pankaj and swapnil are very helpful person. ..walking distance from mapro garden. .. full of greenness in front of balcony.

Good hotel, they upgraded our cottage stay to deluxe one. Staffs were nice. Overall it was good.

The route to location is bit bumpy, its not tar road. The breakfast options could have been organized better way(available poha, upma, alu parota, bread toast, omlet, tea/coffee etc). Parking space are available for 4-5 cars but need to park carefully.

The staff is very polite and hospitable. The food is prepared fresh and they cater to all kinds of requests.

All well but the level of service and in- room comfort should be enhanced for a better experience.

Hotel is located near to Mapro Garden at Panchgini. Vienna lake and Wilson point are close to this property.We stayed in a cottage and there is plenty of space outside for kids and pets to play. Cleanliness is maintained very well. Food quality is also very good. Staff behaviour is excellent as well.Overall, this property is recommended for family with little kids or pets who are looking to just spend some leisure time away from our day-to-day busy lives.

Only issue is the road leading to the entrance of the property from the main road. The road was dug up recently for some plumbing work and is still not re-constructed.You need to drive very carefully on this patch leading to the property.Also the rates are bit on the higher side.

Oakwood is a small-ish "resort" but I liked the feel of a private accommodation as against to many people in a typical resort.Oakwood has a central quadrangle and provides few outdoor sport equipments like cricket, badminton, swing set etcThe food was good, no complaints there.They have good wifi too.

I felt the room was a bit small for the price. We asked for an extra bed and with that the room was fully occupied.
