Evershine Resort & Spa

Ambience was great .So was the service . Room was clean and the bed was comfortable . Shower was nice and very functional .

Needed passports for ID . Driver's listen every was not acceptable . We didn't know that . No where it mentioned that . Also , very little or no information on sight seeing was available . Guides could be arranged but we had our car and so did most reside

It was big, clean and lots to facilities

The food could have been better The approach roads were among the worst that you can find in India. To add insult to injury, the local council even charged toll for road use. It’s a disgrace ?

Location and property were excellent

Rooms were not properly clean , kitchen smell bother on the room a lot specially in the bathrooms room 225 lights were tripping frequently

The location, Ambience, weather, breakfast menu. The Rooms neat and clean . The house keeping staff very friendly and always smiling.

The rooms are good with amenities but could do better if theres a tissue box and daily newspaper service provided.The cafe ,lot of flies. The A la carte menu has limited options. The staff was not attentive at lunch, got our orders mixed up and billed us wrongly. Which was rectified after we mentioned. The breaskfast waffle counter girl was very slow and rude, our order was given to someone else instead of sending to our table. I brought this to the manager notice.

Courteous staff was a pleasure to deal with within the hotel as well as their restaurants. I was traveling with 2 seniors and it was a pleasure to stay at the resort and would recommend it to others as well.

Excellent spread and varities one can enjoy. Healthy choice and can have brunch so that we are set free to explore mahabaleshwar without thinking of stomach.

Room should have liquid soap for hand wash, shower and shampoo. This is to avoid wastage of soap bar.

The F&B staff at Evershine Cafe were really very good and helpful. Special mention to - Madan, Pobitra, Bijaya Laxmi, Sapna and Amitav!The property, location and the ambience of the Hotel is really great!The Guest Relations Officer Chanchala Singh was very professional and did her best to make our stay comfortable.

The food is not good at all. There's not much choice in the menu,The Front office staff are not welcoming and helpful!The main doors in the rooms are old and needs repair or change. The way the other guests were banging the door throughout the day and night really made our stay miserable!

The ambience

The mattress wasn't comfortable. No hair dryer was provided. Shower caps small enough to fit on kids head not an adults head.

All the staff requires proper training, cleanliness at the breakfast area was bad, there were lot of flies all around,this hotel requires a total revamp

Location was good and the property is good.That however is the only good thing with the hotel.

The hotel is badly managed. We had booked premium rooms however these rooms were next to the pantry for house keeping and was extremely noisy. The staff made the maximum noise. The safe in the room was not working nor the blowers of the air conditioners. We had to change our rooms.The day before we checked out we stopped getting hot water. Even after we complained about the problem, we got lukewarm to cold water even the next day - the day of our check out. The management promises to get things sorted, however they do not act on it and wait for the departure of the customer.

Food and cleanliness with activities.

Bath room zet is not released the water with pressure. Commode is also very low. Staff charged extra money for 8 yr child.

Cleanliness, staff, hospitality, food, ambience, amenities inside property are excellent. You won't like miss the gesture and politeness of staff. Amazing place, location is excellent.

I am still thinking there is nothing you will hate at this place.

Experience at break fast was average, delivery time from live counters was slow and confusing as there were no table numbers. Check in experience was not very welcoming. Had to approach reception twice as intercom was not working. Staff not proactive.

Staff to be proactive and courteous

Fantastic stay at Evershine Resort and Spa. Not only did the place exceeded our expectation, the staff went above and beyond to help us in every way. The breakfast buffet was great as well. We ended up spending all our time at the resort rather than going outside. We would highly recommend the place to our friends and family. Keep it up!

Nothing apart from the location

Very poor service the rooms were small and was leaking water from the AC .. very disappointing service

Location, ambience, food quality all was top class. All the staff was extremely helpful and polite. I had stayed with my American friend's family and we all were sufficiently impressed by the hospitality offered. There Spa service was extremely professional. Next time if I will go to Mahabaleshwar, I will certainly stay there only.

Comfortable room with Balcony.

Washroom was a bit small for the category of room we booked. Being a luxe room a bit bigger room would have been more comfortable

The property is good and well maintained with loads of fun activities for the guests to enjoy. However the rooms aren’t sound proof so you can hear people outside in the corridor and even if the next room is playing loud music or watching television. Overall the rooms are okay, but the staff disappointed us with their invasion of our privacy.

The staff tampered with our belongings including using/going through a camera which is highly unprofessional and invaded our privacy. When spoken to the Duty Manager, we were told appropriate action will be taken but it is not enough to make it okay.

The room, food, and the location. The property is located just 1km from the main market. We stayed 4D/3N in one of the Rainforest Rooms (these actually face the ramp used for parking). The room was big, clean and comfortable. The food was good: both the breakfast and dinner spread were decent. Property is big and there is ample space to walk around. We could not use the pool as the water was very cold.

The hospitality was absolutely horrible! Here are some of the instances: 1.High-Tea time was communicated as 4:30-5:30 pm. Although they used to start 10-15 minutes late, they refused to serve me a re-fill at 5:35pm saying it is closed! 2.We were not able to log into the hotel Wi-Fi. We called up for assistance but that did not help. Finally I approached the reception desk and the staff there handed us a coupon, which we realized later can be used for just one device. If there are 2 guests give atleast 4 coupons. 3.There was an electricity cut for about 40 mins and all this while they told us that they will send someone to our room. Nobody came and there was zero communication. 4.After coming back from sightseeing one day, I realized there was a leech on my foot. My wife approached the staff for some salt, but they just made her run from here to there. Absolutely no empathy or seriousness! 5.Our key card got deactivated even before the checkout time. We went for breakfast and when we returned the key was not working. They said it is a system issue and keeps happening. We decide to meet the GM at the time of check-out who said he was completely unaware of the issues being faced by us (despite escalating it many times to other management). We were offered a complimentary one-night stay but we had some other plans and had to leave. We instead requested them to waive-off one day’s room rent, which they refused.
