Coron Soleil Garden Resort

Everything! We had such a great stay and would recommend this to friends and family. We will definitely stay here again if we have another opportunity! The room itself was clean and smells good. The bathroom was great because the hot shower was so quick to heat up. Staying here felt like we were pampered compared to the other facilities we stayed at in the Philippines. Mike, Shara, and Treeza(?) were so kind and also other staff in the hotel and restaurant. There was also a safe in the room which was perfect and we felt secured with our personal belongings whenever we had to leave for a tour. The pool and surroundings were also clean so no complaints on that. We were able to book our tours with the hotel as well which was nice and the prices were comparable to the other tour agencies in the area. Tricycles were also around was very cheap to go to the town proper (30-50 pesos per person). Honestly commuting is an option. If you are adventurous, everything is walkable and walk to the town proper was just about 15-20mins. The hotel also arranged our pick up/drop off from and to the airport which was 500 pesos per person. Because we had to leave before breakfast started, they prepared a to go sandwiches for us to take in the airport which was nice because it also included bottled waters.

I think just the fact that we are provided one room card. This activates the energy/electricity in the room. So when one of us had to leave, someone either had to take the card and left with no lights on. Or one just had to wait for the other person to get back. Not a big deal at all but I hope there’s a work around it because I do support them preserving energy.

Comfortable rooms, beds and well builtNice pool

- Only small plastic water bottles provided creating a lot of plastic waste in just a few days. Why no dispenser, refillable container or refillable glass bottles in such a nature sensitive area without proper waste management?- The bar area is rather noisy and right next to some rooms and regularly playing obnoxious music like rap- The restaurant can be painstakingly slow even when you're the only table to attend- The breakfast buffet is so-so- The staff wasn't particularly helpful in arranging a boat tour (they tried calling once, receiver didn't pick up and left it at that)

The property was well kept and clean. The staff were friendly and incredibly attentive, and the food was good!

The staff was great, from Niel's cocktail, Mori's kindness and Ricca ospitality.. Everybody was so nice and the place has an amazing atmosphere! From all the "upper class" hotels that we visit in Coron, that was the most special one. After our expedition was cancelled, we actually returned there for a second round. Worth it!

Some dishes from the menu were amazing, really good but then some not so impressive.

The room and pool are excellent. Service is really good too.

The staff at the reception were not so welcoming tbh. Maybe because we were Indians. I felt really bad how differently they treated other customers and us. My wife also was disappointed. But other than this, everything was really good.

The masseuse was nice. But there are many good massage spas around the town with cheaper price.

I booked the hotel for 6 nights, and during 3 of those nights, I had problems with the hot water in the shower. On the 4th and 5th nights, the water was only lukewarm, and on the 6th night, it was completely cold. When I reported this to the front desk, they told me their water heater system was broken and that all rooms were affected, so no one had hot water. The only “solution” they offered was to boil water in the tiny kettle provided in the room and pour it over myself—an absolutely ridiculous suggestion, especially since there wasn’t even a bucket available.This was unacceptable, particularly given that most guests return from the sea wet and cold, sometimes on rainy, windy days. This is not what we paid for, and the hotel offered no real solution.What makes it worse is that when I asked my friends, who were staying in another room at the same hotel, they told me their water was perfectly hot. Clearly, the front desk was lying when they claimed the issue affected all rooms. I believe they said that just to avoid moving me to a different room.When I brought this up to the front desk again, they didn’t even bother to apologize. In the end, I had no choice but to take my showers in my friends’ room instead.

The suite with the pool view was very spacious with a seating area, large kitchen space and comfy big bed. When you put in the key card it takes a minute for the AC to come on but be patient. Large walk-in shower in the bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was served in the restaurant buffet style or you could sit outside and although it was not vast, it was well furnished and tasty. Staff was friendly and conscientious. The family-price Easter dinner for 5 was delicious; 4 generous (chicken, ham and seafood) main dishes, ice tea and fresh fruit platter came to a total of 29€ TOTAL not per person! Other times eaten there- food reasonably priced and quite good.The pool is very large with an attached shallow area and another circular pool area with a seating shelf. Although many people comment on the lack of adequate sun loungers, during the day there were not many people at the pool anyway.There was a chair and side table on the terrace in front of my room in the shade. Outside bar serves drinks and food.The resort is quiet and just on the upper limits of town but only a 20-minute walk to downtown proper. Better option was a 30 peso per person tuktuk (48 centimes) for the 6-min ride which Reception can call for you. Mini-mart (cash only) 12 minute walk just past the McDonalds with ATM just across the street. Great restaurant options in town: Gavin's and Santino's were FABULOUS !Had my laundry done before heading home so that I arrived with all clean clothes ..pick up and delivery..impeccable and about 6-7€. Arrange with reception. Easy RDV location for marvelous island hopping day tours.Staff was great in all areas, the resort is very well maintained and a perfect location away from the noise and crowds.

The term "resort" should be used loosely as the fitness center is practically nonexistent and the only other amenities available are massages; my two teenage grandchildren enjoyed theirs. The noise/voices/TV could be clearly heard through the connecting lockedand doors but the AC masked the volume and the people were quiet at a reasonable hour. Photos on the website make it look a bit more upscale than reality but it's a great value for money,and it's spacious and clean.

The staffs were really nice and respectful. They accomodate our requests. The whole place is nice and clean.

Quite far from the town proper but still reachable in few minutes. On our first day, the airconditioners jnside the room leaked so we had to request for maintenance they fixed and solved it immeadiately. We are supposed to stay for 4 nights but our flight got cancelled on the first day due to inclement weather I communicated it thru them and booking.com if we can request for 1st day refund they said they will help us since we have the flight cancellation form from the airline but until the last day of our stay we were not able to received any refund.

Everything was good. Weird bubble pool, jets centrally placed no side jets. Drink where slow and coming.. the cocktails not so great.. will stick to beers next time

Everything was fantastic. 50 peso trike ride to the center of Coron and then back to pure quiet and luxury. Beautiful pool view and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff are the most caring and cheerful people we’ve ever encountered and very attentive. A special mention to Mike at the front desk. He is a superstar. I hope these people get well taken care of by the owner because we will definitely come back because of them. The beds are very comfortable and lots of pillows too!

Very comfortable bed, shower was amazing, plenty of open space.Breakfast was very good.

Not a big deal, but there were some geckos chirping in the middle of the night. Woke me up a couple of times, but I actually appreciated the unexpected geckos.The day we were checking out; staff called us 4 times to confirm that we were checking out. Checkout was at 12, and I was out before 10. I didn’t appreciate the feeling of being rushed out of the room.

Nice relaxing hotel - great cocktails.

Breakfast ok but not great. The young man who checked our room on check-out taking the cash tip we left for the cleaner. Not acceptable and caused an upset when it wasn't rectified quickly - partly a communication issue.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant offered lots of variety, the dishes we had were all very tasty and offered good value for money.

Absolute stunning place. Beautiful and peacful enviroment. Great room, with a lot of space and awesome staff.

Noise from machine one night need it to complain to fix. Also noise at night from people walking on the room above. The food in the restaurant is not so good, compared to the restaurants in town. They have other roons withour room above.

Do not recommend the place at all

Disdainful attitude From the manager, he was care only about to charge more money, and we didn’t get a room that can fit 3 people although that’s what we booked. The breakfast was poor, the pool was dirty and there is no fitness center at all, only 3 devices that didn’t work.

Good quiet location with a short tricycle ride to main town.Great welcome from lovely staff at check in and easy check out. Lovely pool area which as had been mentioned, could do with a few more loungers. Great pool bar with lovely staff, music a bit loud but are happy to turn it down when asked.Room was lovely and clean, large with everything you need and very comfortable.Would stay again.

Good location with a nice territory and a swimming pool. A not expensive group transfer to and from the airport by van can be arranged. No ants. Everyday cleaning

The bathroom had a strong sewage smell, and the shower head constantly falls out of the holder. The food is tasteless, and the coffee is the worst I’ve had.We were given a room with a partial view of a wall, despite booking a room with a good view. The neighbors were extremely noisy on all sides—from loud conversations to lovemaking from 5 AM to midnight.The wi-fi in the room was mostly poor, and mobile internet (Smart) also didn’t work. There were not enough sunbeds near the pool.

Location was great. Quiet area. Bit too far out of town. the chairs that you sit on in the restaurant absolutely terrible. They are so uncomfortable so we couldn’t stay long. The food was great.
