U Jomtien Pattaya

Nice location. Quiet room. Clean room. Liked the view. Great breakfast with many options and very kind staff. Roof top pool was lovely. Lounge chairs were few and didn't recline if you wanted to lay on the front side- this was strange. Gym equipment worked and was nice to have. Could use towels at the gym. Also not sure why no body lotion in the rooms. Certain small details missing that made it less convenient. Reception could be a bit friendlier. Over all a happy stay.

Location for me was optimal, quiet, beach across mostly empty.

I can recommend U Jomtien Pattaya to everyone, solo trip, couple, or family. We stayed with our 5 year old kid. It’s faced in front of a beautiful and calm beach. The view from our room was wonderful. We loved to relax at the balcony or glance from the bed. The pool is not really big and very cold, but we could enjoy under sunny weather with the beach chair. Also recommend to enjoy dinner around sunset at the pool bar. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, too. Many variations and good taste, seats in front of the beach with nice breeze. You can take Songthaew to the busier area in Pattaya. We were 100% satisfied with the stay here.

If I have to say something, the ground floor restaurant was too cold, and the pool was too cold.

The hotel and room design with all facilities such as TV, sofa on the balcony, etc; 24 hour of using the room, getting free drinks in the minibar, coffee machine, the shower gel and shampoo are really good (nice smell and feels soft after), the bed was really comfy-we slept like dead, the AC is new and really cold. Variety of food and drinks. The breakfast time that’s suitable for morning people and those who get up late. Service mind is still excellent except the receptionist which is a bit below standard.

The parking lot is quite small. The Thai food selection was not that tasty. The pool is also small. Last time I stayed, there was a body lotion and toothpaste I think but this time we had only shower cap and cotton pads.

Staffs were all hospitable and friendly.Location was amazing. We got ocean panoramic view room which made our stay close to perfect. Noodle in breakfast was delicious.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was delicious! Many options for food - western and Thai. Very friendly and hospitable service from all staff, from the moment we checked in, including the cleaners, car park staff and restaurant staff. Will definitely stay again. Great for business or personal travel alone, as a couple or with family. Close to the beach and many cafes and food options nearby.

Some food items in restaurant were a little pricey

Excellent and varied breakfast. Friendly staff. Quiet room with comfortable beds. Fast and well-functioning wifi. Nice pool area on the roof.

The location was quite far from everything, but it was easy to get around by songthaew.

We booked the Deluxe Seascape Room for one week and cost us 26,000 baht. This is more than I've ever paid for any rooms in Thailand, but this was definitely a high-end hotel (for us, anyway) and since it was Valentine's Day and our anniversary, we decided to splurge. The price also included a really deluxe breakfast buffet each morning.Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was second to none!!! The variety of foods was beyond our expectations and the hosts were very pleasant and diligent. The food was presented very well, it never ran out, and was always fresh and delicious. Great coffee, too!Our room was on the fourth level and the ocean view is very nice, although I think it would be much better from maybe the sixth floor and up.Nice variety of lighting options.Two pairs of different size pillows and they are super! Very comfortable bed.We were able to borrow an iron, which was handy.Big comfortable cushioned chair on deck, although not quite big enough for the two of us to share; and we are just average size couple. LolThere's also a long padded bench at the foot of the bed, which I'm assuming you could take out onto the deck to do some private sunning?Gym has pretty new looking equipment with a decent amount of free weights. It's open 24 hours and air-conditioned. The pool is not really big enough to swim laps but it's a very nice little rooftop pool. There's also a bar up there with cheerful servers. Drinks are a bit pricey. Also some lounges for sunning and couple of chairs with tables. Great beach view! You can get food served there as well.

Really nice rooms, with a couple of quirks:Small fridge with no shelves. It only kept our stuff cool; no temperature adjustment and no freezer. So if you want to keep ice in your room, you're out of luck. I did take a couple of glasses to the 9th floor one night and got some ice from the bar.The design of the room, specifically the bathroom, is rather odd. The door to your room opens directly into the bathroom space (sink and toilet) which is only separated from the bedroom by two large sliding doors, one on either side. In my opinion, there should have being a solid wall from the edge of the sink to the shower. You'll see what I mean when you get there. LOLThe bathroom sink is 3 ft wide and almost flat on the bottom, so you had to encourage the used water (brushing teeth, shaving, etc) toward the drain. There was ample counter space on either side. Not sure why they would have such a wide sink. Maybe to do your own laundry?

Rooftop pool needs more sun loungers

Breakfast was exceptional, and rooms had superb beach front views . Waking up to ocean views was the perfect way to start the day. The kitchen and hotel staff were very courteous and went out of their way to make you feel special. It's also very family orientated, and I couldn't fault check in or check out. Cleaning the room was prompt, and they were lovely.

The hotel is perfect for honeymoon couples with beach out the front. It's located a distance from the centre of town but there are baht buses out the front. Internet kept dropping out and no movie channels for English speaking guests. If you wanted to go to a restaurant there were plenty nearby.

Breakfast amazing. Room clean and tidy, bed a little uncomfortable.. Towels a little worn. Only 1 chair on balcony a pain if two people in room.

very small room…,bathroom too intrusive…only 6 or 7 sun beds which were ‘reserved’ by 6.45am, just with towels.
