Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Mangrove. It’s located very close to the beach (though not beachfront), and the big pool was definitely a highlight – perfect for a relaxing dip. The room was clean, and we appreciated that towels were changed daily, which was a nice touch.

There were a couple of downsides, though. The arrangement of the three beds in our room felt a bit awkward and not very comfortable for the space. Also, getting to the hotel using Grab was a bit tricky – it took some effort to make sure we were dropped off at the right place.

Exceptional hotel with all the basic facilities. Enjoyed the big swimming pool and delicious breakfast. Almost all the staff members were very friendly except one person.

Great location if you want to escape the noise and craziness of Pattaya. I loved the pool — there are actually three of them! The only downside was the cleaning lady, who got upset and loudly claimed we made the towel dirty.

We had an amazing stay at Mangrove Hotel. We were given a room in the next building (previously Garuda Hotel) but we had access to both pools. The hospitality from the staff was excellent! We really enjoyed our spacious room and balcony. It was very quiet too despite children staying at the hotel. The pools were really well kept including the pool facilities. The hotel is very clean. Whenever we could, we tipped our room service staff. We also didn't request room service every day. I loved the daily breakfast. It catered to both Western and traditional tastes. My favourite was always the Thai spread. As a Canadian, I wanted to experience local Thai cuisine and I was very happy! We didn't buy the breakfast deal ahead of time since we didn't know how it was but we loved it so much we got breakfast at the hotel daily. You can buy drinks on the property which was very convenient. The hotel staff is very knowledgeable about the area. I loved the location of the hotel - a good 5-8min walk to the beach, self service laundry nearby, good restaurants, 7-11, Currency exchange, massage parlours. The beach was really clean. We enjoyed the vendors selling corn and shrimp. It was safe to leave our belongings and get into the water. It was not crowded. We took Bolt cabs into the city. We will stay here again.

Just very minor negligible things. Our shower head was loose and we told the staff who wanted to take action right away but we said we just wanted to note it so we're not charged for any damages since it was already like that. We didn't want to be interrupted with repair work during our stay so they were okay to wait until we checked out. We also received clean towels that were a bit worn out and I also noted that to the hotel reception right away just to avoid any charges to us. I'd say my biggest disappointment was the coldness of the other hotel guests towards us since we're people of colour and minorities. Being accustomed to the Canadian warmth and friendliness I expected smiles and nods at the breakfast cafe and the pools especially since we saw the same people every day but they refused to make eye contact when we tried and just pretended we didn't exist. I also noticed they were treating the hotel staff the same way. Just leaving this here for any other minority Canadian visiting and expecting friendly tourists.

Good stay with overall good time. 10 kilometre far from city but very calm and cozy stay. Staff is friendly and helping. Do visit near beach near the hotel. Rooms are small but good for 2 person

Hotel room is clean.

Hotel electricity supply was cut off at 05:59am, I went down to the hotel counter to check with the manager who was so rude that he shouted at me saying that he can’t do anything. Instead of explaining the reason. I didn’t expect to see a person who is working in the service line to be so rude. The lift is not working, my disable friend have to go down to the group level slowly. Rooms can hear noise from people talking at the swimming pool at night.

LocationFirst they prepare two beds room as 3 beds room and it cause the AC location cause us headaches, but hopefully we could change our room to a better option.

The breakfast was good with a bit of variety. Pools were large. Their filtration systems kept them sparkling clean.The staff was very nice. They worked hard but seemed to always have a big smile.

Maybe the hot food on the breakfast buffet could have been a bit more hot.

Bit out if the city, will cost you THB 250 to go to Jomtien Beach or to pattaya city.

Quiet location, lovely swimming pool, friendly staff - upgraded my room with the one with the sea view. It's amazing how a 15 min drive from the Central Pattaya makes a big difference with no noise, chilled relax vibe.

I had a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family stay.

the breakfast is yummy!I like the rice soup and bread. Breakfast menu is rich and diverse.Though the hotel is far from the beach but you can rent motorbike to anywhere you want.

The wi-fi is not very good.Sometimes it’s fast but sometimes the connection a little laggy.

The place is quite, located a bit away from the center, very good for it price and excellent for it price.

The staff for the night shift we'rent friendly especially the security guy, the morning staff were fine but night two staffs were not nice especially the security guy.
